Arrival and welcome to Kangaroo Island

The journey begins as we make our way to Kangaroo Island, a place known for its natural beauty, wildlife and slow-living charm. Upon arrival in Penneshaw, we’ll be welcomed by our friendly local guide and begin our time together with a scenic hike through Baudin Conservation Park. This walk offers a gentle introduction to the island’s landscape and a chance to stretch the legs while settling into the slower rhythm of the week ahead.

Lunch will be served at the Penneshaw Hotel, giving us time to start forming connections over a shared meal. Afterward, we’ll stop at Pennington Bay and take in the raw coastal beauty before climbing the 500 steps to the top of Prospect Hill for sweeping views of the island.

By late afternoon, we’ll check in to our accommodation and enjoy some time to settle in and relax before making our way to dinner.

Lunch will be enjoyed at Vivonne Bay, one of the most picturesque beaches on the island. The afternoon is reserved for kayaking, a calming activity that allows us to quietly explore the still waters and enjoy the peacefulness of nature.
