The journey starts upon your arrival in Kathmandu- the capital city of Nepal where our representative will receive you. Later, you are taken to the hotel and after resting for a while freshenen up.
You will have the time to stroll around the city and enjoy the bustling life of the people. Thamel is one place where you can visit to relish the nightlife and the numerous restaurants with exquisite delicacies.
As Kathmandu is termed as the ‘city of temples’ and the ‘city of culture’, you will get to know why. Some of the places you will stop this day include the Pashupatinath – the holy temple of Hindus said to be the home to Lord Shiva- the god of destruction.
You will also visit the Monkey temple of Swoyambhunath and Boudhanath – the largest stupa in the world. Kathmandu Durbar Square – the palace of the ancient kings is also on our to-visit list. Reaching the hotel, you start packing for the next day.
It's a morning flight within the country heading to Lukla, the entrance to the Khumbu region known for being one of the world's perilous yet stunning airports. After your arrival in Lukla, our trek commences and leads you through the charming Sherpa villages.
The initial part involves a gentle descent towards the DudhKoshi river, ultimately arriving at our target destination for the day, Phakding village. The flight takes approximately 40 minutes, followed by a 4-hour trek, inclusive of meals.

Starting from Dingboche, surrounded by breathtaking mountain vistas, the path winds through rocky terrains and alpine meadows, testing both endurance and determination.
As you ascend higher, the air thins, and the landscape transforms into a rugged and starkly beautiful terrain. The trek involves navigating steep ascents and descents, following the trail beside the roaring Imja Khola river.
Duglha, at 4,600 meters, marks a significant point where trekkers take a moment to acclimatize, surrounded by the towering peaks of the Khumbu region, preparing for the challenges and adventures that lie ahead on this remarkable mountainous journey.
We will be walking on a rather thin air so it’s the small steps that matter. Passing some stone memorials for climbers we drop down the Khumbu Glacier moraine with the spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains. Then it’s a steep climb up to Lobuche- a small settlement with few huts. 3 hours of walk. BLD included.

The final approach to Lobuche is a strenuous climb, demanding perseverance and mental fortitude, but reaching this high-altitude destination offers a sense of accomplishment and sets the stage for the further adventure that lies ahead in the Everest region.
