Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. You will have a brief orientation about your trek and have some free time to explore the city.
Day 2: Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft) After an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, the trek begins. From Lukla, you will trek to Phakding, which takes around 3-4 hours. You will pass through small villages, dense forests, and suspension bridges along the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 3: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,438m/11,280ft) The trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar takes around 5-6 hours. You will cross several suspension bridges and climb steeply uphill through pine forests to reach the famous Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar.
Day 4: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft) The trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche takes around 5-6 hours. The trail descends to the Dudh Koshi River and then ascends through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche Monastery, the largest monastery in the Khumbu region.
Day 5: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,360m/14,300ft) The trek from Tengboche to Dingboche takes around 5-6 hours. You will trek through forests and cross several suspension bridges before reaching the village of Dingboche.
Day 6: Rest day in Dingboche for acclimatization Another rest day in Dingboche is crucial for proper acclimatization. You can take a short hike to Nagarjun Hill or explore the village and interact with the locals.
Day 7: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4,940m/16,207ft) The trek from Dingboche to Lobuche takes around 5-6 hours. You will pass through the Khumbu Glacier and climb steeply uphill to reach Lobuche.
Day 8: Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5,170m/16,961ft) and Everest Base Camp (5,364m/17,598ft) The trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep takes around 2-3 hours. After lunch, you will hike to Everest Base Camp, which takes around 3-4 hours. You will witness the majestic Khumbu Icefall and get up close to the tallest mountain in the world.
Day 09: Hike to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,209ft) and return to Lukla (2,840m/9,318ft) You will wake up early to hike to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek, for panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and other surrounding peaks. After descending to Gorak Shep and having breakfast, you will trek back to Lukla, which takes around 6-7 hours.
Day 11: Flight back to Kathmandu
