About your trip

Everest Base Camp is one of the famous trekking destinations in Nepal that takes you to an altitude of 5,555 at Kala Patthar where you can have a jaw-dropping view of the world's highest mount ' Mount Everest".  It also gives you breathe taking perspectives of Himalayan cliffs, glaciers, and forested hills. 


  The journey from Kathmandu to Lukla in itself is an outstanding experience as it gives you a combination of thrill and awe-inspiring Himalayan views all in 45 min flight. Trekkers can explore Sherpa culture traditions and observe varieties of flora and fauna in Sagarmatha National Park.  If you should recall any trip as your lifetime adventure, Everest Base Camp Trek will surely be the one. 

What's included

Pickups and drop out

We can pickups and drop out from International Airport, Hotel or other points inside Kathmandu Valley

Accommodations

All the accommodation in Tea houses/ lodge and three meals during the trek

Guide and porters

We provide the local experience government certified trekking guide and trekking porter / Sherpa to carry your bags during the trek, one porter is share between 2 trekkers

Permit

All the necessary paperwork, Taxes and Sagarmatha entry permits

Day 1

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu

We will pick you up from the International airport and transfer you to hotel and you can have the day to yourself for rest from the long flight

Day 2

Day 2  image

Flight to Lukla and trek to Phakding

 Early morning flight from Kathmandu Lukla (2850m) (40 minutes flight) with amazing views of Langtang and Annapurna Himalaya Range. Trek down from Lukla to Phakding crossing through a few suspension bridges. 

Day 3

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m)

 After breakfast, we started trekking from Phakding to Namche Bazaar walking along Dudh Koshi river and crossing a few suspension bridges including Hillary Suspension Bridge. Walk through Monjo village where we register our permit. Overnight at Namche

Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar

Short hike to Kunde (3800m) (Acclimatization) and view a panoramic view of the Mountains, visit some of the ancient monasteries and the world’s highest secondary which was established by Sir Edmund Hillary

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3855m)

 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3855m). From this, the difficult treks start. It is one of the most important acclimatization treks. Overnight at Tengboche  

Day 6

Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche(4410m)

Today In the morning after having our morning breakfasts we‘ll be heading towards the Dingboche. After hiking 20 minutes from Tengboche a great view greets us. After reaching Dingboche a much closer view of Mt. Everest and M.t Lhotse can be seen. Overnight at Dingboche

Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4900m)

Waking up early and having early breakfast we’ll be heading towards the Lobuche. From Dingboche, the trails headed to Khumbu valley. Lobuche is situated at the side of the Khumbu glacier. Overnight at Lobuche. 

Day 8

Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep

 Today is the last day as well as a special day of a trek. Today you will be seeing the breathing-taking views of Mt. Everest. The trails leading to Gorak Shep are extremely beautiful.  You will see lots of glaciers on the way. After reaching EBC we will take a short break and enjoy the scenario. Then we will head back to Gorak Shep. Overnight at Gorak Shep.

Hike to Kala Patthar and trek to Pheriche visa Gorak Shep

 Hike to Kala Patthar viewpoint (5555m, the highest altitude of the trek, and see the stunning views of the world's highest peak- Mount Everest and many other peaks. We trek back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and our belongings and trek to Pheriche for a  night stay.

Trek to Phortse (3855m) from Pheriche

 Trek from Pheriche (4,250m ) to Phortse through the rhododendron forest, we hike from Pheriche to the hilltop village of Tengboche. The trail is relatively relaxed, with a steady downhill followed by a gentle uphill. We cross the beautiful bridge over Imja Khola on the way. As you head into the juniper forests, you might spot high-altitude animals. With the views of vibrantly colored prayer flags and elegant stupas, the tip of Mount Everest, and the backside of Mount Lhotse.

Trek to Khumjung (2650m) from Phortse

We will trek to Khumjung from Phortse where you will pass through beautiful villages,  bridges, and forests viewing the elegant stupas and player's flag. 

Day 13

Trek from Khumjung to Lukla

 Today will be your last day on the trail. First, we leave Khumjung for Lukla, though mostly downhill trails. You will be passing several small villages, narrow forests, and thrilling suspension bridges. You will pass a small village called Benkar before reaching Phakding. From Phakding, you will continue your trek to Toktok and then to Lukla, where you will be spending your last night in the trek region. You are free to enjoy the niceties Lukla offers.

Flight Back to Kathmandu

Fly back to Kathmandu (1,400m) from Lukla (2,850m) If everything goes according to the schedule today, we will be flying back to Kathmandu in the early morning after breakfast. The 40-minute flight back to Kathmandu will be a relaxing one. You might be overwhelmed with memories that you created during the trek. Your trek ends in Kathmandu. If you wish, we can arrange a Kathmandu city tour for you.
