The expedition to Everest Base Camp commences with an aerial flight to Lukla from the Domestic Airport of Kathmandu. the flight takes early in the morning. our representative will drop you off at the airport for a flight from your Hotel. 

Enjoying the surreal panorama of Nepal's varied landscape with a bird's gaze, we will land at Lukla airport at an elevation of 2860m. It is 25 25-minute aerial flight from Kathmandu's domestic airport to Lukla airport. Upon landing at Lukla, we will meet other team members including the porter, and head towards Phakding. walking alongside the Dudh Koshi river, the trail gradually descends towards Phakding offering sight of Mt. Khumbila elevation (5761m). It takes 3-4 hours to reach Phakding from Lukla. 

Good morning on the first day at Khumbu Valley. We will have a morning meal at the tea house in Phakding while appreciating the beauty of the Everest area. After breakfast, we will make our way towards Namche Bazaar at 3440m. The trail passes via pine forest alongside the Dudh Koshi River. As we navigate the  Monjo Village, we get to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park.  after checking in from the Checkpoint, we will steeply ascend and reach Namche Bazaar, our day's final destination. 

Taking into consideration your safety, we included the acclimatization at the Namche Bazaar. The major reason for spending a day at Namche acclimatizing is to allow you to adjust to changed temperatures and reduce the risk of issues regarding altitude sickness.  on the day, we will take a short hike near Namche Bazaar. We will visit Khumjung village, Tengzing Hillary School, and Khumjung monastery during the day and return to the tea house of Namche Bazaar for a night stay. 

Early morning we will get a warm breakfast at Namche's Tea House. Right after the teahouse, we make our way towards Tengboche at 3860m. The trail descends through Dudh Koshi river offering the panorama of Mount Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mount Ama Dablam, and Mt. Thamserku  A 5-6 hours hike from Namche Bazaar takes you to Tengboche, known for the area with largest monastery in the region. 

After a hearty morning meal at the tea house of Tengboche, we will move towards Dingboche at 4410m. The trail first descends via a forest of birch, conifers, and rhododendrons accompanied by Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, and Mount Ama Dablam.  After some hours of walking, the path gets to Pangboche where we will have lunch. After pangboche, the trail ascends and reaches Dingboche. It is 5-6 hours from Tengboche to Dingboche. 

Day seven is the acclimatization day at Dingboche. The acclimatization makes us fit for the coming challenges on the way to Everest Base Camp. On the day, we will hike to one of the finest viewpoints of the region, Nangkartshang Peak at 5121m. The viewpoint lies just above the Dingboche and offers 360 view of the Khumbu Valley and surrounding mountain peaks. Mount Ama Dablam, Mt. Kangtega, Nuptse, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Taboche are eye-appealing from the viewpoint.  After a remarkable visit to Nangkartshang Peak, we will return to Dingboche for an overnight stay. 

With the fresh energy of the previous day's acclimatization, we will head towards Lobuche after having breakfast at the tea house of Dingboche. The trail to Lobuche involves an ascend and crossing Dugh La Pass. The view of Mount Nuptse, Pumori, and Mt. Lhotse will accompany us throughout the walk. The 5 hours of walk from Dingboche takes us to Lobuche at 4940m. 

The day is the most awaited one, as the day takes us to our ultimate destination, Everest base camp (5364m). on this day we will start walking early in the morning after breakfast.  We first reach to Gorakshep (5164m). we will have lunch at Gorakshep's tea house and leaving our bag there, will start trekking towards Everest Base Camp.  

The trek to Everest Base Camp from Gorakshep is indeed challenging as it involves walking via a rocky path and the Khumbu glacier. However, it is worth navigating a challenging trail to reach EBC. The 360-degree view of the summit of Everest Base Camp and the sense of accomplishment after getting there is unmatchable from anything. 

After appreciating the view of well-known mountain peaks and glaciers, we will return to Gorakshep for our overnight stay. 

Early morning with a headlamp and packed lunch, we will start hiking towards Kalapathar (5555m) from Gorakshep. The hike is quite adventurous yet, worthy. It takes two hours to reach Kalapathar from Gorakshep. Upon getting to Kalapathar, some of the world's tallest mountain peaks will surround us. The magnificent sunrise view over the peaks of Mount Everest, Pumo Ri, Mt. Nuptse, and Changtse is jaw-dropping from the top of Kalapathar. 

After admiring the panorama from Kalapathar, we will return to Gorakshep, and have lunch there. After lunch, we will descend to Pheriche (4371m) and stay a night there. To get Pheriche from Gorakshep, it takes 4-5 hours. 

With a feeling of proud and achievement, we will wake up at Pheriche. After freshening up and finishing the morning meal, we will descend to Namche Bazaar.  We will return through the same trail that we took while ascending to EBC. It takes approximately 7 hours to reach Mache Bazaar from Pheriche. 

Day twelve marks the final day of trekking in the Khumbu region. Early morning after breakfast at Namche's tea house, we will descend towards Lukla. Waking through rhododendrons and pine forests, you will say goodbye to the Everest area. We must check-out from the checkpoint near Monjo before getting to Lukla. It takes 6 hours to get Lukla from Namche Bazaar. 

Saying goodbye to the Sagarmatha area, we will take a flight to  Kathmandu from Lukla Airport. 35 minutes of flight takes you to Kathmandu's domestic airport. As you land, our team will pick you up and drop you off at your hotel. In the evening we provide you Thank You dinner.
