About this trip

Imagine yourself, on the top of Kala Patthar, looking at the Mount Everest, tall and majestic, giving you chills, not because of the cold, but through its beauty and purity. The Everest Base Camp trek is about a journey through the enticing art of nature and the rich cultures of Sherpa while finding your soul. You will get lost in the depths of natural grandeur as you march towards the foot of the tallest mountain.

Most parts of the Everest Base Camp trek lies inside the Sagarmatha National Park, explaining the natural diversity.  If lucky, you can spot snow leopard, red panda, or Himalayan Monal (Danphe). The landscape and the views are spectacular giving you a glimpse of heaven on earth.  As you walk, you will come across rivers, bridges, rhododendron forests, glaciers, and moraines, all in their purest of forms. Your eyes will never get tired of looking at the mountains as they come closer day-by-day. The 360o views of Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and other ranges from Kala Patthar is true bliss.

The journey that begins with a 35-minutes flight to Lukla, is no less than an adventure. The trail takes you through numerous Sherpa villages (Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, and Dingboche, to name a few), rich in culture and hospitality. The region is influenced by Buddhist Tibetan cultures, you will come across Gumbas, Chortens, Mani walls, and prayer flags, giving you a touch of spirituality. Visiting the Tengboche Monastery will certainly give you a surge of positive energy after a tiresome walk. Mani Rimdu, a major festival of Sherpa falls in the autumn season. So, planning your trip during autumn would be a bonus.

Reaching the Everest Base Camp is more than viewing Mt. Everest right in front of your eyes. It is about self-discovery, persistence, and motivation that changes you as a person. On reaching the foot of the highest mountain in the world, you will have overcome all your weaknesses. This is a physical, mental and spiritual journey that every individual must attempt, at least once in a lifetime. Thus, book a trek for yourself this spring or fall, and get lost in the lap of Himalayas. Adventure White Mountain makes sure you face no stresses in permits or cards. You can enjoy the blissful nature and the warm hospitality of the people. Overall, this journey to the Everest Base Camp will be a trek to remember for an eternity.
