Itinerary Overview

Pre-Flight Pickup (5:30 AM - 6:00 AM) 

Early morning pickup from your hotel in Kathmandu.

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport, Domestic Terminal.

Check-in and Briefing (6:00 AM - 6:30 AM)
Check-in process and a short briefing about the flight experience.

Receive your boarding pass and important information about safety and the highlights of the flight.

Boarding the Flight (6:30 AM - 7:00 AM)
Board a small, comfortable aircraft, with each seat by a window for an uninterrupted view.

The flight crew will welcome you, and the journey to the Himalayas begins.

Mountain Flight Experience (7:00 AM - 8:00 AM)
The plane takes off, heading towards the eastern Himalayas, flying above the clouds and close to the towering peaks.

As the aircraft approaches Mount Everest, you'll witness an incredible array of the Himalayan range, including peaks like:

• Mount Everest (8,848 meters)
• Lhotse (8,516 meters)
• Makalu (8,481 meters)
• Cho Oyu (8,201 meters)

During the flight, the captain provides live commentary, pointing out various peaks and providing interesting facts about their significance.

Return to Kathmandu (8:00 AM - 8:30 AM)
The flight circles back towards Kathmandu, offering one last chance to marvel at the snow-capped mountains.

Land back at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Post-Flight Transfer to Hotel (8:30 AM - 9:00 AM)
After landing, Shepherd Holidays' representatives will transfer you back to your hotel in Kathmandu.
