Nestled in the quiet village of Mitzela lies an oasis of tranquility called Villa Polyxena. This alluring 8 bedroom estate, with sprawling views of the Aegean Sea, is the home of Lavida Wellness retreats.
Our trained staff will guide you in daily Yoga, Meditation, Breathing exercises, and mindful eating practices.
We truly believe our retreats are like no other because we combine the love of our homeland with the passion we feel towards Mindful practices. We incorporate long walks and challenging hikes through majestic hillsides, take our clients on boat rides to ancient Monasteries and unchartered bays, and of course guide and train our guests on how to create healthy habits and make positive changes by implementing daily rituals for desired outcomes.

Go Inside—being comfortable in your space, in your own mind and body is a powerful tool to release and change subconscious beliefs. We believe thorough regular meditation and mindfulness practices great shifts can occur and new insights can take place. These daily practices are important in the discovery of releasing many ailments like anxiety, anger, tension headaches, and many other undesired symptoms.
By focusing our thought and attention on desired outcomes we enable the body and mind to obtain goals.
The property, which consists of the main house and a guest cottage, is set in terraced grounds dropping down to the sea, where guests are offered two jetties; a wooden one for boats to dock at and a concrete one dressed with deckchairs and a lovely shaded area with cushioned seating.
A tiny sandy beach next to the jetty is great for small children, while other small, shingle beaches are accessed along a footpath.
The house also has a pool surrounded by lawn, an offsite tennis court, windsurfing equipment, and speedboat used for excursions.
Designed to follow the contour of the hill on which it is built, the villa offers spacious rooms, terraces and balconies galore, and above all, lovely views of the water and beach 30m below. Steps lead down through the garden to the pool and then continue down to the shore.
Wrap-around terraces offer different seating, eating, and lazing areas for a large group of people.
The villa is always undergoing renovation, though keeping the original concept that preserves the Pelion style of hand-made roof-tiles, whitewashed walls, wooden balconies and ceilings, and stone floors.
The space, privacy, and proximity to the sea make this an ideal house for relaxing and retreats.
The house is fully secured with out-door video surveillance cameras and an alarm system.
The beauty of being in a Blue Zone is enjoying the healing benefits of our Mediterranean Diet.
Our Chef bases his recipes on typical Greek fare using only the freshest ingredients with vegetables and herbs from our garden. We are a farm to table kitchen priding ourselves in succulent meals made with care and attention to caloric intake. We can also provide other meal plans such as Vegan, Keto, Pescatarian and Paleo.
