Friday through Sunday we will spend in Riga, exploring the vibrant layered historical streets, from medieval to art nouveau to modern, and soaking in the Baltic culture. Then will reTREAT ourselves to five days of progressively sequenced yoga, meditation and reflection in the 18th century Grasu Pils Mansion surrounded by luscious, sprawling nature, with optional excursions to a nearby lake, Cesvaine Palace, and Medieval Castle Ruins.
The 18th century Grasu Pils Mansion is a site marked by deep inspiration and caritas. Originally the home of a German Baron, the site was re-imagined in the 1990s as a Children's Village by a Frenchman, following a deeply spiritual experience. To this day, proceeds from the mansion support this local Orphanage.
