Moderate Activity Level
Expect a moderate level of walking on uneven surfaces as we tour major sites including Pelourinho, Christ the Redeemer, and Sugarloaf Mountain.

Booked by Iman, LLC understands circumstances may arise that prevent you from attending our group trips. All cancellations must be received in writing and emailed to iman@bookedbyiman.com.
All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE three business days after purchase and agreement to Booked by Iman LLC's terms and conditions.
All other monthly installment payments, with the exception of payment processing fees, for Booked by Iman, LLC’s group trips are refundable up to 100 days prior to the trip start date. 99 days or less prior to the group trip start date, all payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.
Transfers of any payment amount to another participant or Booked by Iman, LLC group trip, custom itinerary, and/or travel related service are made at the sole discretion of Booked by Iman, LLC.

Today we'll embark on a full-day tour of Salvador.
In the morning we'll visit a Candomblé temple, explore the Orishas Lake, and stop by the House of Yemanjá, learning about Afro-Brazilian spirituality and traditions.
In the afternoon we'll explore Pelourinho, Salvador’s UNESCO-listed historic center, on a walking tour including a lively capoeira and drumming demonstration.

Get ready to get in the kitchen and roll up your sleeves! This morning we'll participate in a cooking class at a local chef's home. Enjoy the fruits of your labor for lunch.
In the evening, we head back to Pelourinho to see the spectacular Balé Folclórico da Bahia, where Afro-Brazilian rhythms, dance, and history come alive on stage.

Spend the day in Cachoeira experiencing the unique Boa Morte Festival, a celebration led by Black women that blends faith, tradition, and resistance in Brazil’s Recôncavo region.

Today we fly south from Salvador de Bahia to Rio de Janeiro. After checking in to our hotel in Rio, you'll have the afternoon at your leisure.

We start the day discovering the vibrant heart of Rio with a Private Carnival Experience, where we'll go behind the scenes of a local samba school, exploring the dazzling costumes and deep traditions of Brazil’s most iconic celebration.
After lunch, the cultural journey continues with a tour of Little Africa Tour, a neighborhood where many enslaved Africans arrived in Brazil. We'll visit the New Blacks Museum and the Afro-Brazilian Museum (MUNCAB) to learn about the powerful legacy of African heritage in Brazil.

Today is all about Rio's most iconic landmarks! Wake up bright and early to ride the historic train through a lush rainforest to visit the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.
We'll continue on to the vibrant Selarón Steps, a world-famous mosaic staircase in the heart of Rio. After lunch, take in breathtaking views from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain.

After a morning at your leisure, embark on a sunset cruise in Guanabara Bay. Take in spectacular views of Rio’s skyline from the water.
