We will explore the beautiful history and culture of the country on a day trip to the Mayan Ruins, and an additional day trip to experience La Ruta de Las Flores, and delicious pupusas at the local favorite, Geisi's.

Tazumal is the best-preserved pre-Columbian Mayan ruin in the country. It is the first archaeological park created in El Salvador and is among the oldest in the Central American region.

Investigations into Tazumal’s history indicate that it was populated from the Classic period through to the Postclassic. Artifacts discovered at the site track back to the 8th century AD, which is among the earliest artifacts from Mesoamerica.

La Ruta de Las Flores in El Salvador is a tourist route that includes six picturesque towns, Nahuizalco, Salcoatitan, Juayua, Apaneca, Concepción de Ataco, and Achuachapan.

Ruta de las Flores is one of the most famous and visited destinations in El Salvador. Hidden along the Apaneca hills in the west side of the country where is possible appreciate the local and peaceful life of Salvadorean people and each town with particularities which make it special and unique.
