About your trip

Come “home” to Ghana on a soul-stirring 10-day journey designed to reconnect Black travelers with their roots through history, healing, and vibrant culture.

The trip begins in Accra with visits to Black Star Square, Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, and the W.E.B. DuBois Center. The next stop is Kumasi, the cultural heart of the Ashanti Kingdom, where we’ll experience the Akwasidae Festival and participate in a traditional naming ceremony. We’ll journey on to Cape Coast, walking the path of our ancestors at Assin Manso Slave River and passing through the “Door of No Return” at Cape Coast Slave Dungeon.

This is more than a trip—it’s an immersion into history, culture, and the living legacy of the African diaspora.
