Covid Requirements & Restriction in HI
Hawaii still has a lot of its covid policies in place, including an indoor mask mandate as well the Safe Travels Program. The Safe Travels Program allows those arriving to the State of Hawaii to avoid quarantine by registering either a completed vaccination card OR negative covid test from a Trusted Partner issued within 72 hours of arrival on the safe travel website. Please be aware that if you opt to get the test, it MUST be from a Trusted Partner to avoid the quarantine (the complete list can be found on the Hawaii covid website). https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/ Also, we recommend keeping an eye on Hawaiicovid19.com for updates on this because there is talk about re-defining fully vaccinated to include the booster shot. This is not official yet, but may be at the time of travel.
As for the island of Oahu specifically, everyone entering a restaurant, gym or bar needs to produce either a completed vaccination card OR a negative test issued within 48hrs. More information on this can be found at oneoahu.org
For any of your guests who will need to get negative tests to comply with the Safe Access Program, the closest testing facility to us is next door at the Doctors of Waikiki, which is right across in the Princess Kaiulani, or free, same-day PCR tests are available at the Waikiki Shell, which is about a 7 min walk.
