The second day of your trip will be the exploration of unique monuments and spots in Sarajevo. During the tour you will have the opportunity to visit some of the oldest streets in the city of Sarajevo, our local guide will show you old workshops in Sarajevo. You will also have the opportunity to try and taste the finest both salty and sweet traditional specialties of BH cuisine. You will see the most famous landmarks of Sarajevo.
We will see the Old Orthodox Church, one of the oldest religious objects in Sarajevo. Above all, the most recognizable landmark of Sarajevo is Sebilj, a wooden fountain located on Baščaršija Square. The legend says that drinking water from here means that you will certainly come back to this city in the future.
Also we will visit a CULT bakery - Poričanin, where various bakery products have been made for almost 90 years. You will have the opportunity to try - SOMUN which is a traditional bakery product that is of special importance to all believers of the Islamic faith during the holy month of Ramadan.
An unserious station in our neighborhood is certainly the street - Sagrađije. Today, one of the oldest coffee roasters is located in that street. In fact, there used to be three of them in the city of Sarajevo. We will visit the cafe ZEVAK. Zevak - is a word of oriental origin which means - DELIGHT. The coffee in this roastery has a chocolate color, and each package of coffee has the status - Razgovoruša.
You will visit old Caravan Saray, after that, you will also see the famous Gazi Husrev-bey Mosque. Nearby, you will see a unique clock tower famous for showing a very unusual time for the modern world. Furthermore, we will walk nearby the oldest shopping center of Sarajevo, the “Bezistan” – old bazaar from the Ottoman period.
Following the traditional crafts, we will continue to a street called Saraci. This street received the status of a "carsija", or bazaar, during the time of Gazi Husref Beg in 1531, when over 60 shops had been built in that street. They were named after the "zantalis" who crafted leather products and the like.
In this street, we will visit the Kalajdzisalihovic slipper shop, where this artful handmade craft has been passed down through the family generation to generation for nearly 200 years.The trademark of the Kalajdzisalihovic family are the famous Sarajevo slippers, which are handmade and designed with a signature symbol - the peacock.
Cetkari - handmade crafting of brushes you will have the opportunity to meet the last Bosnian handmade crafter of brushes - Remzija Balagica, who learned this art from his father. The characteristics of this craft are quality and longevity, with brushes made in this artisanal shop lasting for over half a century.
After the old town walking through the Old part of the city, we wil see modern streets of Sarajevo.
You will hear the story of the Sarajevo Jewish community existing for almost five centuries. Today it is an important museum related to Balkan Jewish traditions and customs.
We will see the first modern hotel in Sarajevo and hear the stories of the first Waltz dance and celebrities that stayed here. Our recommendation is to drink Bosnian coffee and eat Sacher cake in this place where East meets West. Then the tour continues to the famous Latin Bridge, Franz-Ferdinand’s assassination site.
We will visit the mahala - Alifakovac where today we’ll find the only workshop that has preserved the authentic method of production - kadaifa. The Ottomans brought the recipe to Sarajevo from Palestine. And in Sarajevo, Kadif became a traditional dessert. You will see for yourself why this craft is one of the most difficult. And we will experience this interesting process of making kadif in the workshop of the Abdin family.
Last but not least, we’ll visit the Sarajevo Brewery which is considered to be the first industrial production in BiH. The highlight of our visit to the beer hall will be an opportunity to see what the production of Sarajevo beer looks like today

You will visit Olympic complex, Defenders Cemetery where you will listen story of Romeo and Juliet of Sarajevo. You will pass through „Sniper Alley“ – the most danegerous street in Sarajevo during the siege.
You will visit famous „Tunnel of Hope“ that was the only exit from besieged Sarajevo and that represended and still represents the life, the salvation for people who were living in Sarajevo in these times and the story you will hear about construction of that tunnel and many other stories will certainly be something to remember your whole life.
At the end of the tour we will go to beautiful Olympic mountain - Trebevic. We will see the famous Bob Sleigh Track from the Olympic Games.
At Yellow Fortress, you will experience the sunset cannon, ritual related to end of the fasting. it will be a wonderful chance for photographing this precious moment.
Moreover, you will be able to experience Iftar and ritual of 27th night of Ramadan- According to the Muslim calendar, that night is on 28th April and it is very special, it is a night of God's grace and human needs. A night of honor, a night of the highest value and recognition, the night of the most significant event from the beginning of mankind to the present day, the union of the higher and lower worlds, the union of Heaven and Earth - the revelation of the Qur'an and the descent of all mankind. The publication of the most magnificent Book, which guides all Muslims to the Day of Judgment. The night when the mercy of the Most High is revealed to all worlds. The night of Laylat al-Qadr, as the Qur'an calls it. In the moments of this night, we strengthen our spiritual power and thank Allah, the Exalted, for making us members of the Honorable Ummah.
We have prepared a special lan for you, for a start you will see the markings of the end of fasting, the time of iftar. You will see the end of the fast, which is marked by the firing of a cannon from the bastion. Tobdzija, which marks the end of Lent every day, represents the Ramadan tradition in Sarajevo, but also in some other cities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dressed in traditional costume, with a fez on his head, the gunner always attracted attention on the days of Ramadan.
Iftar, an evening meal in Islam that breaks Ramadan fasting. Iftar will be organized with the Bosnian family, in traditional conditions. After that, going to teravih prayer. Teravih prayer in Islam is a prayer on Ramadan nights. Teravia is an additional prayer. Sunni Muslims pray it in Ramadan at night in mosques. Teravija prayer is not obligatory, but voluntary.
