I'm Suzy Watson, and I established Explore Norfolk UK in 2013. This covers walking and cycling holidays. As I was walking along a stretch of the Norfolk Coast Path and being stunned by its beauty yet again, I suddenly realised just what I could offer visitors to Norfolk. Then a cycling route came along so I did the same for this! So, as well as living in Norfolk, I am here to give you the opportunity to book a fantastic and memorable Norfolk walking or cycling holiday through Explore Norfolk UK, a truly Norfolk business.

Me and my friend were looking to cycle the Rebellion way around Norfolk and happened to come across the Explore Norfolk.co.uk website and made contact with them with regards to them planning our journey and accommodation and i have to say from that point they were fantastic . Our contact Suzy Watson was very friendly and explained everything meticulously ,we paid our deposit and Suzy did the rest she found us some fantastic accommodation and organised for our luggage to be transferred between stops . This was bed and breakfast and at all of our stops some were guest houses and some pubs all of which were brilliant ! A couple of days before we were due to start our ride it came to our attention the one of our overnight stops which was a Green King pub would not accept E bikes on there premises , we bought this to the attention of Suzy and she found us alternative accommodation in the form of air b&b . I would recommend Explore Norfolk if you are looking to ride the Rebellion way they offer a five star service.

A wonderful 5 days in a part of the country we have never been to before. Usually, I find and book our accommodation for our walking trips myself but thought we would give Suzy Watson a go. Best thing I did. It made our holiday so easy with no worries before hand. All the accommodation was right on the route, (we were walking the Norfolk Coast Path from Hunstanton to Cromer) and of very high quality. The guide notes on where refreshments could be bought and what evening meal could be had really helped. Our bags were in our rooms each night when we arrived at our accommodation. It was so easy. It was lovely to get a guide book as part of the package to read up before we set off. We will be back someday to complete the walk south from Cromer. Crispin & Marion

The cycling was a very pleasant mix of off-road, forest tracks and country lanes. We cycled through some very pretty villages along the way. There were hills to climb and come down and also the sandy path ways were quite tricky to manoeuvre in places. It was better to dismount and push! All the accommodation was very comfortable and clean with the exception of a hotel in Swaffham which was absolutely awful. All in all, a fantastic but tiring week!

The Rebellion Way is a really good ride and Suzy Watson's help and organisation made it a smooth one too. She books the accommodation, arranges the transport (thanks Andrew), gives tips on where to eat or stop and some historical information as well. Wonderful

We thought that Suzy at Explore Norfolk did a great job of organising this trip for us. All of the communication prior to the trip was very clear and easy to follow. Plus, during our trip, we asked for one or two changes (e.g., to taxi times), which were made successfully and without any fuss. Essentially, we turned up on day 1 with our stuff and only had to focus on doing the walk, with everything else organised for us.
