Passing the rather impressive Cromwell tank right on the route, you head on towards Oxborough where you'll come across one of the four stately homes, Oxburgh Hall.
Back lanes take you to the Georgian town of Swaffham, where you then head into the historic village of Castle Acre where you can spend some time admiring the Priory ruins and castle ruins. On you cycle, along more quiet lanes, reaching Bawsey Country Park with its slightly tricky sandy paths! As you head away from here, you cycle past the ruin of St Mary’s church at Bawsey. Staying in King’s Lynn for the night gives you time to wander around the historic quarter with all its incredible architecture.
