Join Danielle Saturday, December 29, 2018 – Saturday, January 5, 2019 for a unique yoga experience over New Year’s in Thailand. Spend 8 days and 7 nights at Mala Dhara, an incredible yoga retreat center outside of Chiang Mai, surrounded by rice paddies and mist covered mountains. Reflect on the past year and build strength for 2019 with our twice daily yoga practices. Renew through our self care offerings, including a Thai massage, herbal sauna night, visit to a nearby hot springs, and time to relax and unwind at Mala Dhara’s salt water pool. Explore and experience the culture of Chiang Mai with a temple tour in the city, visit an elephant sanctuary, hike in Doi Saket, and participate in a Thai cooking class at a local organic farm. Prepare to begin 2019 inspired by the beauty of Thailand and a deepened connection to self and others!

I teach from a place of curiosity rather than a place of mastery. Every week, every class, there’s some new connection, some new action or theme to consider, a familiar pose to look at in a new way. I teach yoga because I am fascinated by it. As a student of yoga, my practice and my teaching are constantly evolving. My asana practice (the physical practice of yoga) didn’t come easily to me. After many years of on again off again practice I found my teachers who made me feel seen and allowed me to start to see myself, understand my habits and really resonate with what the practice of yoga is all about. I have practiced vinyasa yoga off and on for half my life and taught full time for over five years. Over the past few years, I have been more inspired by the structure and subtlety of Iyengar yoga. In my classes, I blend the rigor of vinyasa with the nuance of Iyengar. You will move, dig deep, think, use props and probably do some work at the wall. I believe in asana and alignment as
