DAY 1
Date: April 15, 2023
Arrival in the Capital City of Ghana
Arrival at Kotoka International Airport, Accra. The airport picks up and transfers to the hotel for check-in. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the ambience of the hotel after your long flight. You will spend the night at Fiesta Royale Hotel or a similar hotel.
DAY 2

Visit Makola Market
We’ll begin by touring Accra Makola Market to sample the various indigenous foodstuffs in Ghana. Later, we’ll visit a kenkey house to experience the preparation of the major corn staple unique to Ga. Overnight at Fiesta Royale or a similar hotel.

Date: April 17, 2023
A Tour to the coastal Ewe land
We’ll take a tour to Keta for the delights of the coastal Ewe. Participate in the preparation of yakayake, abolo, Akple and Aborbitadi. Overnight at Aborigion Hotel or similar hotel.
DAY 4
Date: April 18, 2023
Travel to Wli Town
We’ll ease into the day then drive to Wli in the afternoon where we’ll check into Water Heights hotel – a popular area boutique hotel where you’ll spend the night.
DAY 5
Date: April 19, 2023
Wli Waterfalls & Palm Wine Tapper
We begin today’s tour with a morning visit to the spectacular Wli Waterfalls thundering down from a height of 200 feet. Then we’ll visit a local palm wine tapper and savour the fresh wine, rich in vitamins. A. Overnight is at Water Heights hotel.

Experience the Legonglo or Kojan festive rice dishes
After breakfast, we join the Bakua local folks to go through the full process of legonglo’ or Kojan’, festive rice dishes. Overnight at Water Heights hotel.

Travel day from Bakua to Aburi
Today we drive to Aburi. Check-in at Little Acre Hotel or similar hotel. Overnight is in Aburi.
DAY 8
Date: April 22, 2023
Preparation of Fufu & Light soup and Abunubunu meals
After breakfast, we’ll tour Aburi Botanical Gardens, later joining up with some local folks to prepare the unique delicacies of Apapransan and Abunubunu’, a nutritious all-vegetable green soup. Overnight is at Little Acre Hotel or similar. Breakfast.
DAY 9
Date: April 23, 2023
Departure day
Drive to Accra. Time to so some last-minute souvenir shopping before heading to the airport for your flight back home.
