✳︎ Any cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of 25% of monies paid plus the cost to wire refund in order to cover MAGA Heritage Tour’s administrative costs.

✳︎ Paid within 30 days of departure date, 100% of payment is non-refundable.

✳︎ All balances will be due 30 days before trip date.

NOTE: There will be a $100 late fee charge if the remaining balance is not paid one month before the trip date.

Arrive Zanzibar airport/harbor transfer to your chosen Stone Town Hotel for check-inn dinner and overnight.

Spice Farm Tour/Stone Town
Spice Farm tour: Here we will learn how local people are using these spices in different ways medicinally and in the cuisine. There are about 15 spices to see and taste. Lunch will be provided.

Next we head to Stone Town (a UNESCO world Heritage site since 2000) where the history of East African Coast was born. With a mix of Indians, Arabs and Swahili culture, we will visit the former Slave Market including an exhibition room which tell us history of slaves in Zanzibar. Famous house of Wonders (built by Barghash bin Said, second Sultan of Zanzibar)

Mnemba beach/Kendwa beach
We head to Mnemba beach. Activities to include Dolphin tour, Mnemba snorkeling, Mnemba Sandbank. A seafood lunch, chips and rice with a coconut sauce will be provided. We will also visit Nungwi aquarium to swim with sea turtles, Nungwi workshop boats (traditional dhow). We will finish the day by enjoying the sunset at Kendwa beach (the best beautiful beach of Zanzibar).

Safari Blue/Kwale Island
Safari Blue: This is a full day sea trip and is one of the most relaxing and enjoyable excursion in Zanzibar. Activities include visiting the natural sea lagoon, baobab giant tree over 300 years, relaxing and taking pictures (location Sandbank). Lunch at Kwale Island (including lobster, squid, octopus, tuna, prawns, rice, coconut suace, french fries and drinks.)

Prison Island: This day you will see the giant tortoises, prison ruins & Nakupnda Sandbank (the largest sandbank in Zanzibar and popular from both tourists and locals) Lunch will be provided at the sandbank.

Jozani Forest/Rock Restaurant
The Jozani forest, a natural reserve, lies 35 km South East from Zanzibar City between Chawaka Bay and Uzi Bay. The forest, with trees older than 100 years, is the sanctuary for some very interesting animals, including the Red Collobus monkey. Note: Guest will pay for their own lunch at the famous Rock Restaurant.

Our last full day in Zanzibar will start at Mangapwani Slave Chamber and end with a Sunset Cruise into Stone Town with phenomenal views of the town and the sunset.

My cousin and I booked M.A.G.A Heritage tour for our first trip to Ghana December 2019. From the time we booked until the time we left Ghana Kwame and his team made our trip one to remember. The payment process was very easy and professional. Kwame kept in contact with us weeks before our trip to assure us all is well and to answer any questions we had. This made us feel more comfortable to travel across the world for the first time. I highly recommend this tour as it was like no other in every single way. We even planned to return in 2020 but then there was that COVID thing that got in the way. But nonetheless we will be returning soon. I traveled to Ghana in July of 2018. I had the most amazing experience there with my group thanks to Kwame. He is the best he really made us feel comfortable and took care of us. We had such a great experience that we are going back in May of 2020. It was strange, and great to experience a place for the 1st time and have it feel like home. I can't wait to go back! If you're thinking of going to Ghana GO WITH THEM. They are very trustworthy and will make it an experience you'll never forget.
