Today, you’ll explore Quito, Ecuador's capital city. Visit the Mitad del Mundo (Middle of the World), where the equator line runs through. This is a unique opportunity to stand with one foot in the Northern Hemisphere and the other in the Southern Hemisphere. You’ll also enjoy a guided tour around the city, taking in highlights like La Ronda, the Basilica del Voto Nacional, and the Panecillo Hill for stunning views. 

 Travel to the picturesque town of Otavalo, famous for its indigenous culture and colorful markets. You’ll spend time with a local Otavaleña family, learning about their traditions, customs, and way of life. The day offers an authentic cultural experience that provides insight into the Otavalo people’s daily routines, arts, and crafts. 

 Begin the day at the Otavalo Market, one of the largest and most famous markets in Latin America. Here, you can purchase hand-woven textiles, jewelry, and local handicrafts. Afterward, head to Cuicocha, a crater lake formed by an ancient volcano. Enjoy a scenic hike or boat ride in this stunning natural setting, surrounded by towering peaks. 

 Visit Cayambe, a town located at the base of the snow-capped Cayambe Volcano. This area is known for its impressive landscapes, sugar cane plantations, and local dairy products. After exploring, continue your journey south, heading toward the more tropical and mountainous regions of Ecuador. 

 Explore the famous Quilotoa Crater Lake, a breathtaking turquoise lake nestled in the crater of a volcano. Take in the stunning views and enjoy a hike along the rim. Later, visit a local Hacienda, a historic estate where you’ll learn about the traditional farming methods and lifestyle of the region. You may also have the chance to experience some local cuisine. 

 In the morning, visit Cotopaxi National Park and its iconic Cotopaxi Volcano, one of the highest active volcanoes in the world. The park offers dramatic views of the snow-capped peak and surrounding landscapes. In the afternoon, depart for Baños, a town known for its natural hot springs and waterfalls. 

 Enjoy two full days in Baños, a paradise for adventure lovers. You can relax in natural hot springs, visit stunning waterfalls like Pailon del Diablo, or take part in activities like rafting, zip-lining, hiking, or biking through the lush countryside. Optional activities might include a visit to the Swing at the End of the World or an adventure tour to explore the nearby Amazon Basin. 

 On the final day of the tour, travel back to Quito for your departure. Depending on your flight time, you might have some free time to visit any attractions you missed earlier or enjoy a last meal in the city before heading to the airport.
