2. These prices are based on shared double occupancy. If you would like a single occupancy during your stay, please contact us at info@melanintravel.com before booking to learn more about the additional fee.

Cancellation By Guest:

Any trip cancellation requests must be received in writing at info@melanintravel.com. 

Cancellation charges per paying person cancelling are as follows. More than 10 weeks before departure date: Melanin Travel refunds 75% of the full amount excluding the deposit. Less than 10 weeks but more than 8 weeks: Melanin Travel refunds 50% of the full amount excluding the deposit. 8 weeks or less: Melanin Travel retains 100% of the full price per paying person cancelling unless we can fill your spot. If upon cancellation, your spot is successfully filled by another client, we will make a full refund excluding the deposit. The effective date of cancellation is the working day on which written notification is received by Melanin Travel. You may be able to reclaim cancellation charges under the terms of your insurance policy. Claims must be made direct to your insurance company. Once the trip has begun, no refunds can be made. All prices are based upon group bookings, therefore no refunds shall be made on any parts of the itinerary in which you do not wish to participate in. 

Cancellation By Melanin Travel: 

In the extreme and unlikely event that the trip is cancelled, Melanin Travel will promptly refund the full paid amount to registered attendees, excluding the deposit. We will not however be responsible for any expenses incurred in preparation for travel or the trip experience.
