We took two tours with Killa Expeditions — the Sacred Valley and the Palcoyo Rainbow Mountain, and both were absolutely exceptional. Our guide, Niko, made the experience unforgettable. He’s knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly attentive — always checking in to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. By the end of our trip, we felt like we’d made a dear friend in Cusco. The entire team at Killa was outstanding. Jose managed all the communication and logistics seamlessly — he was quick to respond, understood our preferences perfectly, and customized the itinerary (including our food requirements) with great care. Our driver, Danny, was fantastic — his smooth driving made even the long journeys relaxing and comfortable. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. We truly can’t thank Killa enough for making our trip so memorable. Highly, highly recommend them!

Mind-blowing experience with the best guide and support crew we could ever have hoped for. The altitude on this trek is not to be taken lightly. Not only is it very challenging to breathe, but sleep is difficult, appetite is suppressed, headaches come easily, and stomach issues can be severe. Our team from Killa Expeditions took great care of us, kept us safe, and helped us every step of the way. But if you are not comfortable being uncomfortable, consider a different trek at lower altitude.

We had a wonderful time on our trek with Killa Expeditions. Raul and Danny and their team of horsemen (Anakleto and Leonidas), horsewoman (Rosalina), chef (Mario) and cooks (Philippe and Bisante) took excellent care of us during our trip to Rainbow mountain. We were well fed and well entertained by this caring and professional team. The day trip touring the Sacred Valley and overnight in Aguas Calientes to visit Machu Pichu was an excellent add on. I'm glad we took the extra time to go.

Our expedition with Killa was truly one of the most extraordinary experiences of my life. From start to finish, the entire Killa team was not only attentive, but also such a joy to be around. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the journey unforgettable, and saying goodbye to them at the end was so bittersweet. Raul was absolutely exceptional. His knowledge and wisdom enriched our experience, and his calm, steady presence during the treks gave us such a sense of comfort and confidence in the wild. At one point, when a group member struggled with breathing in the middle of the night, Raul handled it with such care and patience—explaining everything calmly while making sure he was safe. It was deeply reassuring to all of us. Danny was equally wonderful—always ready with a smile, offering to capture photos for us along the way, and pointing out fascinating details we would have otherwise missed. Sharing our nightly meals with Danny and Raul was always a highlight of the day. Speaking of meals, Mario and his team were simply outstanding—the food they prepared surpassed all expectations and left us in awe night after night. And of course, the horsemen and Rosalita were incredible. Their tireless work behind the scenes did not go unnoticed, and the sound of their laughter at the end of long days brought such warmth to camp. They made everything run seamlessly, all while creating an atmosphere of joy. I cannot recommend Killa highly enough to anyone considering this kind of adventure. They didn’t just guide us through the trek—they elevated the entire experience and made it something truly magical.
