Eyes on Everest, also known as the Everest View Trek, is a relatively short trek in the Everest
region that takes you as close to the tallest mountain of the world as you can get to from a safe
distance.
One of the shortest among Everest treks, the EoE trek affords magnificent views of the Everest
and its neighboring peaks, a chance to witness Buddhism in the remote Himalayas and to learn
about the indigenous people that call a living Shangri-La their home. Spend a day in a quaint
Sherpa village and get to see the monastery, learn a little about the culture and make friends with
some of the warmest people in the world.
A hair-raising landing at the short and steep Lukla airstrip marks the start of a great trek in one of
the most beautiful places in the world revered by trekkers everywhere. This is a teahouse trek,
which means we will stay in little mountain lodges along the trail in the little scattered villages
we'll walk through. A reasonable level of fitness is required to complete this trek.
