Pick up from your accommodation at about 8:30 AM and depart from the center at 9:00 AM and head up the north to explore the beautiful country side. We will stop on our way to visit Ban San Xang Khong village to see expert of mulberry paper making. Then we continue our cycling on road number 13 and have a second stop at Hmong morning market. You'll meet Hmong people comng from hill villages and selling their products. Afterwards, we will see scenic view of the mighty Mekong river and get to Ban Xang Hay Village, also known as Whisky Village. Here you visit the village, see the process of making lao lao, the country’s beloved rice whiskey and taste the fresh local delights. Why not pick up a couple of bottles for later! Another 30 minutes cycling take us to Manifa Elephant Camp. We enjoy a full buffet style lunch @ the Manifa Elephant Camp restaurant – overlooking the mekong river.
After lunch, we'll be transferred to the Nam Ou river and start Kayak at 13:30 (from Ban Pak Ou or Ban Hat Kho, depending on the level and physical strength) We enjoy a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside and see a wonderful nature built limestone cliffs called Pha Aen.
Upon arrival at the confluence of two rivers, Pak Ou, we visit the famous Pak Ou Caves. We will explore the Buddha caves with guide about 30 min. Afterwards, we start the second course of the kayak on the Mekong River. We paddle down for 30 minutes until we arrive at Manifa Elephant Camp.
At about 4-5 PM, we start going back to Luang Prabang. (End of Service 4:30-5:30 PM)
