From the roaming green fields and wild Atlantic coastline, to the mythical castles that dot the landscape and bring us tales of folklore and legends. Ireland is a country whose landscape captivates the hearts of whoever sees it. Its quaint villages filled with joyous people and pubs are a once in a lifetime experience.

On this trip we will enjoy experiences like, falconry on the shores of the Atlantic. Visit a tucked away cheese farm between the lush green slopes. Discover the secret to smoking Salmon in a traditional Irish Smokehouse. Learn how to pour a proper pint of Guinness. Enjoy the scenic views of the Atlantic coastline while bathing in a hot whiskey barrel filled with medicinal seaweed.

And, of course visit a few historical medieval castles like Bunratty and Blarney.

Day 1

A medieval welcome with a visit to Bunratty Castle.

Arrival early morning into Shannon airport, we recommend you book a flight arriving before noon. Short 5 minute transfer from Shannon airport to our hotel in Bunratty village.

After check in, Breakfast and a meet and greet with our group and guide, we'll visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, where we'll  enjoy the scenic views of one of Ireland's best preserved medieval strongholds and learn about the ancient way of life of bygone times. Afterwards we'll head across on a short drive to Cragganauwen. An ancient woodland park and discover how the ancient Celts lived in these lands over 3000 years ago.

In the evening we will enjoy a traditional medieval banquet dinner with chants and folk songs, followed by some free time to enjoy a few nice Irish pints of beer in the nearby Durty Nelly's Pub.


Day 2

The fairytale county of Clare & the Cliffs of Moher

After breakfast we head eastwards crossing through the fairytale county of Clare. Infamous, for having some of the largest amounts of castle per square mile, we'll cross over this rugged landscape brimming with tales of past times. Visit the Cliffs of Moher where you'll experience the jaw dropping views by walking around the cliffs jolting out 700ft above the roaring Atlantic Ocean.

Later we travel south taking a short ferry ride across the Shannon Estuary towards Kerry, Ireland's Garden County. We'll head to the Dingle Peninsula. Voted by National Geographic for over the past decade as one of the greatest places on earth. We'll finish our day in Heaton's Guesthouse, in the town of Dingle. Sit back relax and enjoy the views of the tranquil fishing harbour.

Free evening to enjoy the delights of Dingle with its splendid selection of pubs and restaurants.

Day 3

Falconry on the shores of the beach, whiskey tasting & Europe's edge.

After enjoying some award winning breakfast at Heaton's we'll head to the other side of the harbour where we'll have a unique experience of falconry. Enjoy a walk across the shorelines of the beach along with these majestic "birds of prey" as they fly into your arm, with beauty, grace and lightning speed.

After our incredible faclonry experience we'll head to Dingle Whiskey distillery, where we learn how Whiskey, or, as its called in Irish "water of life" is crafted and distilled. Later we'll do a short scenic ride across the Dingle Peninsula. Visit Slea Head, renowned for its ancient and bewildering atmosphere and also known as the "last parish to America for being the most westerly point of Europe. In the evening enjoy some free time to indulge in the atmospheric pub scene of Dingle

Day 4

The Wild Atlantic Ring of Kerry and bathing in a whiskey barrel

Departing in the morning from Dingle, we will be exploring Ireland's most scenic drive route. With 100 miles of beautiful valleys and spectacular coastline, the Ring of Kerry is an amazing drive so be prepared to have your cameras and phones fully charged as we'll have plenty of stops along the way. Halfway through, we'll stop for some lunch in the quaint village of Sneem. With our bellies full it's time for us to chill. We'll each indulge in an individual whiskey barrel seaweed bath while enjoying the scenic views of the Atlantic.

After our relaxing moments of zen and tranquility bathing in the medicinal whiskey barrel we'll cross through the scenic valleys of Molls Gap. Finishing our day in Killarney. Celebrated for its lively pubs and charming surroundings

Day 5

Enjoying the delights of Killarney

Today we'll enjoy the delights of Killarney and its surroundings. We'll visit Ross Castle, a quaint castle on the banks of the lakes of Killarney, where we can stroll around soaking up the views of the castle grounds and surrounding mountains. Enjoy the chance to take a boatride across the lakes and visit the ruins of Innisfallen Monastery. After Ross Castle we'll head to Muckross House and Gardens. An elegant manor house surrounded by an enormous intricately designed garden.

In the afternoon enjoy some free time to soak up the live atmosphere of Killarney and do some souvenir shopping in one of the local artisan stores. 

Day 6

The rebel county of Cork and Ireland's gourmet capital, Kinsale.

After breakfast we say goodbye to the magical kingdom of Kerry and head south towards the county of Cork. Renowned for its charismatic inhabitants with their peculiar and lovely accent. We'll arrive in Kinsale, a quaint fishing town, known as Ireland's gourmet food capital and renowned for its picturesque and old world architecture.

After check in, we have some free time to enjoy the delights of the town. Maybe go an a gourmet food tour and discover the best dishes that will soothe your taste buds with a local guide, or join your guide on a scenic walk towards an eye-catching coastal fort, all the while soaking up the interesting architecture of the town. 

Day 7

Blarney Castle, Ireland's ancient capital and the fair city, Dublin.

In the morning we'll head north towards the infamous Blarney Castle. Former home of the McCarthy Chieftains. Enjoy a walk around the inside of Ireland's most famous castle along with a tour around the witch gardens. Make sure the witches don't catch you.

After lunch we'll be travelling through the midlands of Ireland. Stop in Cashel, Ireland's ancient capital where we'll admire the scenic view of this majestic ruin that sits on a craggy hilltop surrounded by fields of grazing cows and sheep. In the late afternoon we'll arrive in Dublin. Free evening to enjoy the delights of Dublin and our hotel surroundings 

Day 8

Tour of Dublin

After breakfast we'll visit Trinity College. Situated in the centre of the of city, Trinity one of the worlds most prestigious universities and home to the ancient manuscript of the Book of Kells. A thousand year old manuscript intricately designed and still a wonder of the ancient world to many scholars. Later, we'll head to the Guinness storehouse, the place where Ireland's most famous drink is crafted, we'll discover how this interesting beverage is made and why as the good aul irish saying goes, "its good for you". Afterwards some free time to roam about Dublin. In the evening we'll head to the Merry Ploughboy pub, for a night of traditional music and dance

Departure

Its time to say goodbye to the Emerald Isle, but we will forever carry the memories of moments and friends made on this trip. Tour ends after breakfast.

We can of course organise additional postnights for you, if you wish to extend your trip
