The 140 acre Highground Veterans Memorial Park in Neillsville, WI offers much more than a “typical” Memorial Park. Perched on a high bluff, the Park provides spectacular colorful views of ½ million acres of Wisconsin woodland and glacial moraine. The Park is an amazing tribute showcasing seventeen memorials honoring veterans and their families. It boasts a beautiful white oak timber Visitors Center with gift shop and a separate Learning Center. Plus, our visit is during the “Fall Festival” which features a classic car show and chili cook-off competition. After an included lunch at the unique Wausau Mine Company Restaurant we’ll board Granite Peak’s Comet Sky Ride. This six-seat chair lift will whisk you to the top of Rib Mountain State Park. You’ll marvel at the stunning fall colors for as far as the eye can see. A scenic rural drive will bring us to our final stop - Lakeview Berry Farm outside of Mosinee, WI. Depending on the season’s conditions you’ll be able to purchase up to 12 Raspberry varieties and other fruits. Join us on this amazing day taking in Wisconsin’s beautiful fall colors!
