Welcome to our home in Negril Jamaica. I am a Registered Nurse and certified Nurse coach who believes in natural and alternative medicine. I have experienced all kinds of modalities for healing. The best modality that I have found is just rest and relaxation. I encourage my clients to connect to optimal health by hitting the pause button in order to replenish the body's energy. 

When I migrated from Jamaica at 16 years old, it was always my dream to return and to share my home with my friends. My personal trauma could not keep me away from my people and the land. My culture was everywhere. The food, the music, the love, never left me. Family stuff aside, I needed to be swimming in the clear sea and walking in the lush hills to soothe my soul. As an adult, I have been healing myself and have returned to my island home to rest and replenish my body, mind and spirit. Serenity villa in Negril, is a peaceful respite from the busyness of my everyday life. My wife Norma is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has the most blessed hands you will ever encounter. In order to help to heal humanity, we have created this wellness retreat and respite home with our amazing children and grandchildren. 

I now go to Jamaica to reset and recharge. I invite you to do the same at our beautiful vacation villa. Some people like the peaceful quiet of our home at Serenity Villa and may hardly leave the property.  Guests may decide to take in the sun on a yoga mat on the soft grass or just have a drink or smoke on the veranda. Others may decide to have an occasional (10 mins) walk to the beach or to visit our neighborhood bars and restaurants within walking distance from the house. Others, may prefer to light up the town. For those who long for adventure and nightlife, Negril does not disappoint! Negril has a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops, and resorts (you can experience them with a day or night pass, the best of both worlds). The iconic Seven Mile Beach is only a short car ride away.

If you would like to use the room alone without sharing with a partner (we have twin and Queen beds), you can have a single room but the room will cost you an additional amount. Rooms are based on double occupancy. Please email us for additional cost. 

We reserve the right to not have kids unless we are hosting a family. The reason for this is that a lot of adults want to escape the kids for couple time. To be fair to other people, we limit kids only to family events. Thanks for understanding. 

Explore in our own van, lovingly called "Max", around the island with our trip facilitator.  A lot of the excursions are a little off the beaten path, in all the best ways. Connect to the hills of Jamaica as well as its beaches, caves and falls. This is a unique fusion of family and tourist immersion into our island culture. 

All deposits are non-refundable. Please get travel insurance for unforeseen needs.

- [ ] Walk 10 mins to the beach and its bars. Say hi to Quality (yes that’s the name of the restaurant and bar at the end of our road but also the name of the owner) for us!

- [ ] Karaoke in the meditation room

- [ ] Meditate 

- [ ] Medicate on the veranda 

- [ ] Read and chill on the upper living room or veranda

- [ ] Plant or harvest from the herb garden or fruit trees. 

We spend the day exploring the sea with Captain Sheldon on his glass bottom boat. We snorkel two different areas and check out sunken shipwreck items. We also get to see the iconic 7 Mile Beach with the large resorts and hear the history of Negril. Finally, we will have lunch on a private island made fresh from the sea. Have fun in the sun and the sea. Get to know new friends and connect with our island home.

Experience nature's baptism in over 40 pools and falls in this former plantation site. Open your heart to the River Mama and let her help you to remove anything else that may no longer be of service to you. Let it wash to the sea and feel refreshed and renewed. Leave the island lighter but more grounded in your true essence. 

A 10 minute walk and you cross the road and run right into this bar. The frozen fruit drinks are amazing. You can have them with or without alcohol.  

High on the cliffs outside Negril, Rick’s Cafe is one of Jamaica’s most enduring institutions. Negril was a sleepy fishing village when Rick’s opened in 1974, and travelers and locals alike still make a pilgrimage to the restaurant and bar for strong cocktails, tasty Jamaican dishes, death-defying cliff divers, and sunset viewing parties.
