Teresa Perleberg is an artist and entrepreneur who specializes in needle felting. She is the founder of Bear Creek Felting, a company that sells needle felting supplies, tutorials, and workshops. Perleberg is well-known for her realistic and detailed needle-felted animal sculptures, particularly her wool sculptures of sheep and other farm animals.
Perleberg began needle felting in 2006 and started Bear Creek Felting in 2008 to share her passion with others. Her company offers a wide variety of needle felting supplies, such as wool roving, felting needles, and felting kits. She also provides online tutorials and workshops for those who want to learn how to create their own needle-felted designs.

Your Instructors and the Nome Schoolhouse do much to prepare for your arrival. To honor the work that we put towards your place in the class there is a firm time frame around when and how refunds are given. Tickets may be transferred to another person upon approval by the Nome Schoolhouse.

By making a booking with us, you signify your agreement to adhere to these terms.
1. Booking and Payment:
a. An initial non-refundable deposit may be required upon booking to secure your spot in a retreat. The specific deposit amount is outlined in the retreat or class details.
b. Full payment for the retreat must be completed by the payment deadline, typically at least 30 days prior to the start date as indicated in retreat or class details. Failure to complete payment by the deadline may result in forfeiture of your spot and deposit.
2. Cancellation Policy:
a. Participants must inform Nome Schoolhouse promptly in writing via email to [email protected] if they need to cancel their participation in a retreat or class.
b. Cancellations made 30 or more days before the retreat or class start date will be eligible for a refund of the total payment, minus the non-refundable deposit.
c. Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat or class start date are not eligible for refunds, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
d. Nome Schoolhouse reserves the right to cancel a retreat or class due to unforeseen circumstances or insufficient enrollment. In such instances, participants will receive a complete refund, including the deposit.
3. Transfers:
a. Requests to transfer bookings to another person must be made in writing via email as soon as possible. Transfers are subject to approval by Nome Schoolhouse.
4. Travel Insurance:
a. Participants are strongly advised to purchase travel insurance for retreats to protect their investment in case of unforeseen events such as illness, personal emergencies, or travel disruptions.
5. Liability:
a. While precautions are taken to ensure participant safety during retreats and classes, Nome Schoolhouse and its instructors cannot be held liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, losses, or damages that may occur during participation.
6. Code of Conduct:
a. Participants are expected to show respect towards fellow attendees, instructors, and Nome Schoolhouse property. Any disruptive behavior or violation of local laws may result in removal from the retreat or class without a refund.
7. Changes to Itinerary:
a. Nome Schoolhouse reserves the right to modify the retreat or class itinerary, including activity schedules, instructors, and accommodations if necessary. Reasonable efforts will be made to inform participants of any such changes.
Participants are advised against making travel arrangements until within 29 days of the retreat’s start date due to potential unforeseen circumstances.
