This morning, we’ll have pastries from the local pasticceria available for you to come grab from the garden at 9am. 

At 10, we will head out to the ferry port in Piombino. We’ll drive our cars on to the boat and head off towards the Isle of Elba. (Don’t worry- you don’t have to hang out in your car on the ferry. There are large seating areas upstairs!) The ferry is an hour long and then, we’ll be at the famous island, Elba. 

After lunch on our own, we’ll head to the other side of the island to meet for a snorkeling adventure around the island‘s crystal waters. 

Afterwards, spend a bit of time shopping for souvenirs before heading back to the ferry port and our resort. (The ferry ride is one hour.)

We’ll have a group dinner at the resort together later that evening once everyone has returned. 

This morning, we’ll have an easy start to the day. Wake up when you’d like. We’ll have pastries in the garden from 9-10. Come and grab some for yourself and your family. 

Lunch is on your own today- feel free to eat at your apartment, near the resort in Piombino or head to PIsa early and find something there.

At 2pm, we will leave the resort for Pisa. We’ll make a stop by the famous tower for some pictures, and then head on to Lucca.

In Lucca, you’ll have time to rent bikes, explore the cathedral or simply walk around the winding streets of this charming medieval city. 

Dinner this evening is along the ancient walls- at one of our favourite spots. We’ll have a few courses for dinner, but the mood is relaxed and there is space outside for wriggly kids to play football or toddle around as needed.

After dinner, we’ll head back to the resort and get back a bit on the later side. 

Wake up when you like today! We’ll have pastries to grab from 9-10, but otherwise-the day is open to enjoy as you like!

We’ll have a play session for the kids from 10-12 this morning, so feel free to wander to the cafe and grab a coffee while you have some easy time. 

Lunch is on your own today. Feel free to head to a hillside town like Volterra, wander into Piombino for lunch along the water at a beach club or make food in your own apartment if the kids are happy to stay on-site and swim. You can also rent bikes from the hotel and take them on the trail down to the beach, If you want an easy adventure out.

For dinner, we’ll send out a list of places within easy driving distance of the hotel. 

At 9pm, we’ll have a big round of family bingo, so plan to be back for the fun then. We’ll have loads of prizes to be won, snacks, drinks and all the fun!

This morning, we’ll head out a bit earlier to get a good jump on the day! Be ready to leave at 9am (Don’t worry- we’ll have the pastries ready at 8:30 for an expidted collection!).

The first stop will be Siena. Siena is famous for many things- but the biggest is the Palio which happens in the oddly-shaped Piazza del Campo. You’ll have a little scavenger hunt to do while you’re in Siena to help you find the best spots and most notable places. Lunch is on your own here.

Our second stop today is the photogenic hilltop town of San Gimignano. Here, we’ll meet by the famous well in the main piazza for a group photo and ice-cream cone from Dondoli. 

Afterwards, enjoy getting to wander through the ancient city streets, find little souvenirs to take home, or make a quick trip into famous church to see the famous paintings inside by Ghirlandaio, as well as the famous biblical scenes that decorate the interiors as a “Poor Man’s Bible.”

On arrival back to the resort, we’ll be there to meet you with a bag of dinner from one of our favourite little Tuscan restaurants. They’ll have lasagna, veggies, bread & dessert ready for you to make dinner really easy this evening. 

After dinner, plan for some pick-up soccer to be played by the kids, and adults to hang out and chat while it happens. 

Our last day together takes place along the gorgeous Etruscan Coast.  Pastries in the garden to start, and then off we’ll head for a day along the beach.

When in Tuscany, do as the Tuscans do, so off we will head to a cute local Beach Club.  We’ll have our own area of beach chairs for the day where you can park it for as long as you like. (They’re saved for you all day!)

You’ll have time to splash in the water (there is a nice shallow tidal pool areas for little ones!), play on the playground, hace the kids play some soccer or grab pizza or ice cream from the pool bar.

Once you’’ve had your fill of the sun, we’ll meet back at the resort for a fun round of Family Olympics. (Silly games, only, we promise!)

Afterwards, we’ll have one last dinner together at the resort. (But fully intend on kids to play way past their bedtime until we finally drag them in.)

This morning, we’ll officially be concluded from group activities, but they’ll still be a round of pastries in the garden. Come give hugs goodbye to everyone and grab some before you head out.
