Carla, her son Mark, and the whole team were wonderful! They were so attentive to the safety of our children (ages 7 and 9) while on the horses which was greatly appreciated. The horses back ride was beautiful along the Mopan River on the way to the ruins. The guides were well informed and really enjoyable. They made sure we had lots of water and took pictures for anyone who wanted. No food was provided so make sure to bring a snack if you have kids as the tour lasts 4-5 hours from door to door. This was a great experience and highly recommend!

We truly had a great experience during our tour. Our guide, Jose, was truly amazing and down to earth. His knowledge and personality was a great match for us as we enjoyed both Xunatunich and cave tubing. He had a great sense of humor that complimented both of us. His patience was truly amazing. The whole experience was one of the best ones we experienced during our time in Belize. He had our safety in mind while making sure we had the best experience possible.

We had a wonderful day visiting the Mayan sites and San Ignacio market. Our guide, Carla, was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. We were able to visit everything at our own pace and never felt rushed. I highly recommend St Leonard’s tours for your Belize excursions.

We had a great experience on the tour! Our tour guide was very insightful of the history of the Mayan culture and we ended up having a private tour since there was no other reservations for that day. Would definitely recommend!

Great excursion to Xunantunich on horseback. Neither of us had been on a horse for years but found it easy, the horses were very well behaved and our guide Jose talked us through the basics first. The ride across fields and along by the river was nice, cool under trees, we spotted Howler Monkeys and a couple of Toucans and other birds. Jose was very good, a bit of a joker, knows his stuff though and gave lots of info about local flora and fauna and the Mayan civilization. (Pay attention as he will be asking questions later!) The ruins themselves are very impressive, the climb to the top isn't too arduous even in 30°C+ heat, and there was a cooling breeze at the top and a panoramic view of the site and the whole valley for miles around. Jose picked us up and dropped off right outside our accomodation on the outskirts of San Ignatio. Altogether a really good trip which I'd definitely recommend.
