The trip was practically perfect. The flights were all on schedule and there was not a single drop of rain. Our guide was very capable and professional. The transition between the sites was very smooth and ample time was given for profoundly Holy experiences. I would schedule another trip with this agency with no hesitation.

I had a great time; we did not encounter any problems, the food was great, the hotels were really nice, there were no problems with the transportation, and Antonela, the tour guide, was very knowledgeable—no complaints at all. Thank you very much for everything.

In my experience at this trip I didn't like the hotel in Venice and Florence, the internet connection was terrible and that affected to me to connect a meeting and Assis no comments. The meals in Venice were terrible, in Florence food was better and the rest of the trip. The crew were excellent people, professional, kindness. Antonella was a nice person who care of us all the time. The places were visited were amassing, specially in Rome where we can attended to the Pope's audience and we were pretty close. This day was very special to keep in my heart and included in my memories. Thanks

This trip was so wonderful. Ireland was so beautiful and the people were so hospitable. If it were possible to have the larger, three course meals at an earlier time each day that would have been ideal but besides that I would not have changed a thing. I am so grateful to have had Rosemary and Augustina as our tour guides, Father Boyle as our chaplain, and Andy as our bus driver. Everything from the gorgeous landscape/scenery to the farm animals and wildlife to the food to the religious sites made for a very memorable experience. I am so grateful to have had access to the sacraments during this trip and I am particularly grateful for having the privilege of attending Mass at so many holy sites. I feel so blessed to have visited the churches, castles, towns, and holy ruins where so many holy men and women lived and died. Thank you for such an amazing pilgrimage filled with so many graces!

 Thank you for the opportunity I have received to enjoy the hospitality, warmth and joy of the Irish people!
 I loved Holy Mass at the wells of Saint Brigid and Saint Patrick. It took us back in time to the ‘hidden’ Sacrifice offered at the risk of life for Holy Priests and their faithful.  
 Then to visit Knock. The silence of prayers, knowing the Lamb of God on the Altar, the adoration and our love for God so powerful and peaceful; is the greatest gift God has given us in the Holy Mass… the Sacraments… the Union of Faith, Hope and Charity… the bond of Love found in the simple quiet hearts of Jesus, Mary, Joseph… and St. John,

A wonderful experience. Saw so many interesting things and learned so much about the Saints of Ireland. The food was good and the accommodations were great. Everyone on the tour was very nice. Tour leaders were very informative and helpful.

We received so many graces, and learned so much of Irish history and Irish places! It was amazing. Can't wait to make the next pilgrimage!

Beautiful scenery, wonderful and edifying accounts of past Catholics

I had a marvelous experience. The fluidity of the trip was unexpected and it allowed for some amazing adventures/excursions that were not on the agenda.  Rosemary Barry is so knowledgeable and brought to my experience places and saints I didn’t even know despite this being a second trip to Ireland. 

The entirety of the time, the people were friendly, flexible and such a joy to come to know. We built friendships that I’m confident will last. 

It was a trip of a lifetime!  Fr. Richard Boyle & Rosemary Berry are brilliant!  They were truly present for each and every one of us from very early morning until after dinner and beyond.  Father offered daily confession, Mass and individual spiritual consultations as well as daily prayers, rosary and friendship.  Rosemary Berry was charming, knowledgeable, and so genuinely kind.  She provided us with many hidden pearls throughout Ireland.  Our bus driver Andy Crawford was highly skilled and “most” accommodating.  He went beyond being a bus driver.  He kept our bus impeccably clean and provided many insights to our trip as he is very familiar with Ireland! Avgustina Daskalova was equally helpful, organized and truly accounted for each of us before permitting the bus to move!  I felt very safe on this trip. 

We had such an amazing experience, I loved it and look forward to travel again for next year.

FHIT2025: Italy with Fr. Nicholas Ho

Accommodations were first rate. Hotel breakfasts very good, dinners less so. My primary complaint was lack of vegetables or salads. Typical supper was a first course of pasta, a second course of meat, and then a dessert. That’s not healthy eating in my book.
Trip covered a lot of ground, perhaps too much. I’m glad we saw everything that we did but the pace was quite rapid. For example at the Vatican museums we walked straight through all the rooms, only stopping at the Sistine chapel.
Tour guide Roberto was very good and did his best to improvise when the death of Pope Francis threw our schedule into turmoil.

This trip completely exceeded our expectations. Kennedy Hall was a great host. Everything was very well organized. Our overall in-country guide was amazing - she went above and beyond on several occasions.The food that was organized for us was great and the food we found on our own was also great. Each of our local guides was amazing and incredibly knowledgable. My wife and I learned so much and saw so many things in a relatively short time. We never could have accomplished so much on our own without years of preparation and study! Very grateful for the expertise and quality of this experience! Even our bus driver was incredibly skilled and kind.

Extraordinary! It exceeded my expectations.

Wonderful people, a jam packed Itinerary  great weather,  and excellent guides, made it a memorable Pilgrimage experience. 

The itinerary was excellent, the hotels were wonderful (we managed, even though the rooms were tiny!), the food was fabulous (of course, it was Eataly!!) and it was great to be among like-minded people who are utterly serious about their Faith and have the joy of God in their hearts!  Thank you for a great pilgrimage that will live in our hearts forever!

It was an unforgettable trip. The personal from Elvira to Naomi were right on task and taking care of us all the time. We had opportunity to see and visit so much but with a good pace. And still have free time for us and some shopping and enjoyment of the place. Teresa Rocha at the service office also was very responsive to all my questions and that gave me peace of mind. There is only one thing I would expect next trip and that is a working bathroom in the bus. It is the first time in a tour that the bathroom at the bus is canceled and specially in trips of more than three hours it is peace of mind to know that in case of an emergency you have that option. Still the director managed to make stops at our request so everything went smooth.
Overall we had a blast , Divine places and people to visit, good hotels, good food and the company of Kennedy as a plus. What else you can hope?

An amazing pilgrimage with like minded people. The local guides made it very educational and meaningful.  Our Chaplin made it all come to life in a spiritual sense. Our technical guide was so helpful, thoughtful and caring. I love listening to Kennedy Hall and it was so nice to get to know him and his wife. All things said, I would call this a royal pilgrimage with it's comfortable rooms and fine dining. 

Extremely well organized and an amazing experience.  I would highly recommend anyone to take a tour from this company!

Great trip, beautiful sites and very informative on the travels of Saint Paul. Great guides and especially the great group we were traveling with. Wished Father had felt better but he did a great job as always.

FHBCGR2023: Greece with Fr. Philip Gillespie

Awesome! Looking forward to another wonderful pilgrimage in the future.

This visit was designed to be more a pilgrimage than a secular tourist experience. Toward this end, we were grounded by knowing a Mass would be celebrated each day.  Getting to know the priest was a wonderful experience that supplemented the meanings of what we observed. . The tour guides were competent and the logistics management of arrival and departure times, suitcases, hotels and food  was excellent. This tour covered a lot of destinations , which provided a good foundation for other, more focused visits.

I had a wonderful time!! Our Guide Crissie was fantastic!! She was so very knowledgeable about the area.  When she was talking to us about the history and details of the area it was as though she was talking to friends, not lecturing us.  Also our driver Dimitri was excellent. If I were to return I would want both of them as part of my trip!!

FNHGR2023: Greece with Fr. Nicholas Ho

my wife and i had a very blessed trip to Greece and the 3 nite cruise aboard the Celestyal Olympia  visiting other greek Islands. the food was very good and tasty, lots to choose from. Room accommodations comfortable, the sites and places we went with the knowledge of our tour guide, we enjoyed what we were seeing and the history of it. as well, our tour escort friendly and helpful  keeping us all together throughout the day. our tour bus driver, can only be described as the best driver ever. we would definitely travel again with Catholic Heritage Tours   THANK YOU

I did have a good time with the Pilgrims that went with me on this trip.  However, I was quite disappointed with the fact that there were so few Catholic churches in the entire Greek community.  As this trip was in "the footsteps of St. Paul" I expected to see many Catholic churches but did not.  Our Pilgrims attended only one Mass at a Catholic Church and that was on the last day of the Pilgrimage.  This would not have happened if Fr. Ho had not asked for a change in the schedule.  

I believe that Catholic Heritage Tours should have disclosed the fact that Greece is primarily Greek Orthodox in its religious affiliation.  Don't spring this on new Pilgrims as they too will be disappointed, expecting to visit many wonderful Catholic Churches and finding there are so few!  Greece is not a Catholic country!  It is a beautiful country but not Catholic!  It was definitely not a "Catholic Pilgrimage," as I had expected.


Fabulous very fast paced trip. Catholic Heritage Tours was great with their communcations prior to the trip. Easy to pay. There were a few glitches (airline connections) but nothing terrible, just  minor inconveniences to be expected traveling with that large a group.  Mostly things went smooth. The tour guide was professional, friendly, and full of information about the sites we visited.  No complaints about her. However, we felt rushed through some of the churches with not enough or any time to visit the gift shops of each church.  The auxillary tour guides were great too and obviously knew their stuff.
The hotels were a little less than expected. I think American 4 stars differs from European 4 stars. We had to request a room change in Rome at the Hotel Cicerone. The bathroom had mold growing in the tub and on the tiled surfaces.  We arrived later than expected to the hotel and had to wait until next day to change rooms.  
No complaints about the hotel in Padua. and none in Florence. Meals in Padua were the best on the trip. Florence was good too. However, the buffets at breakfast and dinner in Rome at Hotel Cicerone were not stellar.  Breakfast ok, we managed. Dinner was mostly fish and pasta.  Would have preferred more variety.  The coffee situation left things to be desired.  No American coffee available.  Just machines that make "not good" coffee. 
This was our first tour of this type. We were not really sure what to expect. All of the sites visited were outstanding representation of what we expected. I would have preferred a little more free time.

Italy with Fr. Mower and Fr. Brantley

Awesome, inspiring and unforgettable.  The tour guides Jamil and Rizek were professional, personable and knowledgeable.  The bus drivers Ahmed and Josef were outstanding.  The hotel accommodation s were lovely, with the exception of the late night construction at the PetraMoon.  The Sea of Galilee hotel was exceptional in its location and quality of food.  While exhausting, the amount of historical/pilgrimage sites covered was unbelievable.  The trip of a lifetime, thank you.

FHBC20: Family Honor Pilgrimage to the Holy Land & Jordan

This was an amazing trip, well planned and great local guides. Our guide in Israel "Rizek Nazi" was absolutely the best! He is wealth of knowledge.  The hotels, especially the Sea of Galilee Inn were all super. We will cherish this trip for ever.

Dear Philhelmina, Christina, and Others at Catholic Heritage Tours,

This trip was, by far, the most meaningful and most wonderful trip my wife and I have taken in our entire lives.  Every day of the trip was full of information and visits to sites that we had previously only read about or heard about.  These visits to sites directly impacted our Catholic faith, strengthening it, enlightening it, deepening it.

The two tour guides Jamil in Jordan and Rizik in Israel were excellent.  They were well informed and could communicate well with the entire group.  They shared their personal insights (especially Rizik) regarding the Catholic faith.  I am at present trying to remember and write down as much as I can about the insights Rizik had shared with us.  I don't want to forget.

Brenda and Mike Cerkez, the group leaders and organizers, were wonderful shepherds.  Brenda led the group in front and Michael deliberately walked behind the last person in the group.  One was the engine, the other was the caboose.  Together they shepherded 37 of us through the streets of Jerusalem, Tiberias, Haifa, Jericho, Madaba, Petra, and many other places.  My wife and I are very grateful for the care that they extended to the group, always making sure that we were informed of what to expect next and always aware that some of us are not as quick or as mobile as the rest.  We never felt pressured or hurried.  We only felt tender care from Brenda and Mike.  Thank you, thank you, thank you Brenda and Mike.

And Thank You, Catholic Heritage Tours.  This pilgrimage to the Holy Land is by far  the highlight travel experience of our entire lives.

I had a great time and the people did make the experience, everyone was helpful and supportive.  The trip guides were helpful and well informed making the trip special.

The trip was fantastic.  The tour guide was so knowledgeable, patient and accommodating.  The local tour guides hired were very good, particularly the guide we had for the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel.  The drivers were skilled and I was grateful for their abilities in navigating the very busy roadways.  The accommodations were very nice.  It was a blessing to be traveling with our priest, Father Bryan Ochs, because he was able to have a more personal touch with the participants, make modifications to the schedule for the pilgrims.  I will definitely consider another pilgrimage after this experience!

Turkey and Greece were on my bucket list.  I always wanted to Walk In The Footsteps Of St Paul and see The Seven Churches Of The Apocalype.  Now that I have been, I feel fulfilled.  Although the pace was a little fast and the walking a little too much for some, it was a very spiritually profitable pilgrimage.  We had wonderful tour guides and safety conscious drivers.  Pictures do not do justice to actually visiting the places on the pilgrimage.  Everyone had a great time.  It is definitely a place to visit if one likes to travel.

Turkey & Greece with Fr. Copping

We had a wonderful time with old friends and new friends. We especially loved the mass each day and fellowship. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity!

This was a wonderful trip.  Never having been to Israel was not sure what to expect.  All accommodations were excellent as was all foods that were provided.   Our guide was Jerusalem Christian Catholic native and was enormously helpful in explaining the history and interactions of all the faiths in Israel.  The bus and driver were top notch also.  The only surprise was the cost of the food when we would go out and eat lunch.  We ended up spending more on food than we had anticipated which made us appreciate all the breakfast and dinners that were provided by Catholic Heritage Tour group.  My wife and I would definitely go on another tour with this company.

The Holy Land with Fr. Peter Eke & Fr. James Bearss

This was a trip of a lifetime. A most prayerful experience that will certainly heighten our prayer life, our faith, and our love for Jesus. The people we went thru this with are now like family to us. The tour was well organized, filled with excitement and fun, and fulfilled every expectation and more of what we expected. We felt safe, stayed in beautiful places, were treated with the highest level of hospitality and ate well. 

We had a good trip. Some of the pilgrims had a difficult time keeping pace due to age and physical condition. The food was not as good as I expected. Better in Greece than in Turkey.
I was impressed with St Polycarp Church, Ephesus, and the Greek Orthodox Monasteries in Meteora. The Turkish Airline was a plesant surprise, and the British Air flight from London was also good. All other air travel was so, so. Most hotels were very good. The one in Kalambaka was exceptionaly good. The one's in Instanbul and Tessaloniki were average at best. I would not book there if I had to make reservations. Finally, I believe the pricing of the trip was very fair.

One negative thing was no Wi-Fi on the bus in Greece. Having Wi-Fi would have made communication with family and friends possible.

Over all very good trip, except for the BA canceled flight on 10/16.
