The daytrip to North Seymour and Bachas Beach through GalapagosBKtours was the best one we did! The boat was very nice - large and spacious for the 15 people on the trip, with a very smooth ride. The crew and guide were very professional and helpful. We had a wonderful 3-course lunch of sashimi and salad, grilled fish and rice, and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed the sites - the bird nesting sites were particularly amazing. We booked directly through GalapagosBKtours and while the trip was expensive, it was much cheaper than if we had gone through tripadvisor and had to pay that markup. Communication was good with pickup from our hotel. I would definitely book with GalapagosBKtours again if returning to the Galapagos - this experience was much better and smoother than the other tour operators we used for the rest of our daytrips.
This was my first open ocean dive since getting certified. Israel was a very patient and helpful guide and I felt like I was in safe hands. The diving tour itself was amazing! We saw two hammerheads, some white tipped sharks, rays, turtles, and a sea lion played with us! I am vegan and the vegan meal was really good and it included soy protein so it wasn't just a plate of vegs. I recommend this for beginners all the way through advanced, as they break you out into groups so you are not stuck with other groups (like discovery or training if you are certified) and can dive at your own level. Highly recommended!
Galápagos is beautiful but this tour was too expensive. I would have preferred to book my activities at the islands because that would have saved me at least 200 dollars or more. Plus there are a lot of free activities you can do on the island so you really don’t need to have a tour booked everyday. There were also some mistakes made with my program which caused a lot of stress, but Eduardo is a nice guy and he made up for this with a lobster dinner.
