We had a great time. Lois put together a great group of people. Great food and wonderful accommodations. We would definitely travel with Lois again and recommend to friends.

This was a well planned trip with flexibility to explore on your own in your free time. Care was taken in the planning to spend a few days at each of our destinations. Our accommodations were well chosen as they were quiet, authentically Japanese and in locations that were in walking distance to public transport (train stations) that allowed for easy exploration of the city or area and their gardens that we were visiting.

This trip was so much more than we could have experienced on our own. We were pampered and guided by professionals, who truly cared for us. Lois is an amazing planner who goes above and beyond to craft a culturally immersive and magical experience!

Wonderful trip, that was expertly organized. We saw and experienced Japan in a deep way. We traveled lightly as a group and had many opportunities to learn and explore the Japanese culture. The gardens and temples we saw were treasures. The people that we experienced them with were likewise.

This gave me a good introduction to Japan, from the history to the habits. I would have appreciated more insight into garden design and more exposure to the extraordinary art of these highly civilised people, but the tour organiser was relaxed about me taking off to pursue my own interests. The range of hotels chosen was good, from budget to quirky to luxury. And my fellow travellers were a pleasant bunch.
