Join us for an unforgettable all-inclusive women’s wellness retreat in El Salvador filled with surf, yoga, adventure and transformation with a “shred" edge. It will be a week full of magic with delicious meals, beautiful locations and an amazing group of like-minded women.
On this transformational women’s retreat, surf, yoga, and adventure become gateways to confidence, courage, and deep inner balance. "Finding your flow" in your yoga practice, in surf, and in life. Offering an opportunity for you to connect more deeply with yourself.
Each day invites you to step into your power with the support of your sisters. We blend the fiery yang energy of surfing and adventure with the grounding yin of yoga practices to help you reconnect with your power and inner wisdom. Together we will enter a traditional temazcal, sacred sweatlodge ritual led by a Mayan shaman, where you’ll release what no longer serves you and emerge feeling renewed - symbolically transformed and born again. Surrounded by a supportive sisterhood, you’ll learn, laugh, grow, and experience the magic of rediscovering yourself through movement, nature, and community. This is a journey of empowerment, joy, healing, and unforgettable adventure.

We will be staying in a picturesque beachfront resort, with an open air yoga shala with ocean views directly in front of the waves, where we will practice to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore, while appreciating the dramatic coastline and geological structures. The restaurant is alongside the hotel with a lively atmosphere in front of the beach, offering loungers to chill during downtime.
In Mizata we have a righthand point break which is best for intermediate-advanced surfers. There is also a beach break suitable for all levels. This retreat is ideal for intermediates, meaning you're able to catch green waves on your own, and feel confident in the surf, even if you're sitting on the shoulder. We will also take a trip to explore waves further away either Sunzal or el Zonte, and a mellower beach break. We’ll be there to support and encourage you, but we won’t be offering full-time individual instruction, however this is an option. The surf will be suitable for all levels, however beginners who need 1-1 instruction are recommended to purchase the additional package to get individualized support.
With the support of your hosts/instructors, you’ll break through fears and feel that powerful sense of freedom and empowerment that comes with accomplishment. We will be challenging ourselves, breaking through what's been holding us back. . Yoga will be a key part of this journey - helping you build physical strength and mobility, support recovery, and cultivate the mental focus and resilience needed to overcome barriers in the surf.
Our goal at Shred Sisters is to empower women through board sports. We know that women supporting women is the most powerful tool in overcoming fears, pushing each other, and making friends in the process. Your main hostess, Ella is a yoga, surf, and snowboard instructor who has been living in Mizata working as a retreats operations manager and facilitator. More than just surf, this retreat is about sisterhood—deep connection, sunrise meditations, sunset hangs, good vibes, and conversations that stay with you long after you leave. You’ll go home feeling stronger, more confident, and stoked on life.
Mizata by Antiresort is a secluded, jungle-meets-ocean retreat located along El Salvador’s Pacific coast in the La Libertad region. The place gives a “hidden-away paradise” feel. The area features a quiet, uncrowded beach with a mix of sandy shoreline and surf-friendly breaks, backed by lush tropical hills and dramatic cliffsides. There are a few surf breaks right outfront including beach break, a-frame and a right-hand pointbreak. These surf breaks suit all levels and are more uncrowded than nearby spots.
