Finding Wonder Retreat Cornwall.
Join us this June for an immersive and beautiful journey to awaken the creative and writer within.
Finding wonder is an exquisitely crafted four day transformative retreat that explores the inner worlds through creative writing and nature on the luxurious land of iconic Cornwall in Southwest England.
It is both serene and uniquely wild.
Both dreamlike and grounded.
Both energizing and calming.
This is a place of reunion for those who crave in person community with other writers. Whether meeting for the first time or weaving in deeper, all beginner and advanced writers are welcomed with open arms. And- you don’t even have to be a writer! Curiosity is welcomed too.
Our intimate retreat center Cabilla will be our home for four days over the magical summer solstice. It is situated among the rolling English countryside, ancient woodlands and rare temperate rainforests setting the stage for inspiring creation.
This retreat will include:
Long, meandering walks through the woodlands.
Soundbathing.
Yoga.
Stargazing.
Slow living.
Cozy Koyt cabins with cotton linens and large triangle windows that bring nature inside.
Bonfires.
Comfort and warmth.
A group of sweet, like-minded people from around the world.
Writing ceremonies.
Nourishing healthy food.
Lots of time off to wander and connect with others.
A softly led restoration of the self.
Creativity is a river moving through us all.
And writing is a creative practice in which we look, weave, and tend to the roots of our experiences to turn them into art and in so doing, restore our sense of connection and well being.
I work to bring good people and creative flow together in supportive and beautifully held spaces to bring out the best in your writing and heart.
We do this from a place of play, of self trust, and of embodiment.
Gathering in person to write and tell stories weaves a fabric that is stronger than just writing alone. The sheer magic that happens in these circles opens, cleanses and nourishes the spirit, working to transmute pain into peace.
Writing invigorates and restores us back to a place of belonging that we all innately crave. And most importantly it’s FUN.
