Upon arrival in Reykjavík, unwind with a visit to the Blue Lagoon, where you can soak in soothing geothermal waters while gazing out over the North Atlantic. It’s the perfect way to relax, reset, and begin your Icelandic adventure surrounded by breathtaking scenery and new travel friends. Afterwards we started heading to the Golden Circle with a stop in Kerid Crater. Afterwards we will check into our hotel and enjoy our included dinner.
Overnight in Reykholt
We are off this morning to the unforgettable Golden Circle, exploring some of Iceland’s most iconic natural wonders. Marvel at the powerful Gullfoss Waterfall, watch the Strokkur Geyser erupt in a burst of steam and water. Along the way, enjoy Gullfoss Falls, then stopping for lunch at Friðheimar, known for its famous tomato soup and delicious pasta. We will continue through the sweeping landscapes, volcanic plains, and glimpses of Iceland’s raw, untamed beauty — a perfect introduction to the island’s dramatic natural wonders.
Overnight in Reykholt
This morning we will head to the South Coast of Iceland. This area offers some of the country’s most breathtaking scenery and unforgettable sights. Stand in awe at Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascading curtain of water, the hidden Gljufrbui, and feel the mist from the mighty Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s most powerful waterfalls. Continue to the dramatic Black Sand Beach of Reynisfjara, with its towering basalt columns and roaring Atlantic waves. We will end our day with an easy glacier hike at Sólheimajökull, afterwards we will return to the hotel for the evening.
Overnight in Hvolsvöllur
As you head back to Reykjavík, enjoy a scenic drive filled with opportunities to stop at a few of Iceland’s hidden gems along the way. Visit charming coastal villages, take in sweeping views of waterfalls and lava fields, and capture those last incredible photos of Iceland’s ever-changing landscapes. After checking into the hotel, you have leisure time to enjoy the cafes and colorful Reykjavik. As evening approached, excitement built for our Northern Lights tour—hoping for clear skies and a dazzling display to end the day on a magical note.

Before heading to the airport, take one last stroll through Reykjavík’s heart. Start at the Sun Voyager, where the gleaming steel sculpture catches the morning light over the bay, a symbol of exploration and dreams. From there, wander up Laugavegur, the city’s lively main street lined with cafés, boutiques, and the scent of freshly baked pastries. As you climb toward Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavík’s iconic church, pause to take in the view over the colorful rooftops and the distant mountains. It’s a perfect farewell walk—a quiet, beautiful moment to carry with you as you leave Iceland.
