Kick off the Christmas Season with a trip to the  Fireside that will truly get you into the “Christmas Spirit”! 

This morning you depart for a fun-filled two days of ringing in the Christmas Season! Stops will be made along the way for lunch & snacks on your own. You will then check into your hotel for the evening. After some time to freshen up (& to don Christmas attire of red & green if you like), board your bus for the Fireside Dinner Theater. Upon arrival, you will find that you have walked into a Christmas wonderland with decorations everywhere you look! There are some wonderful gift shops for you to poke around in. Then be seated in the lovely dining room to enjoy the spectacular Christmas Buffet. Afterwards, head into the theater to sit back & enjoy the Fireside’s fantastic Christmas Show, “White Christmas”! Based on the beloved film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, and Rosemary Clooney, this heartwarming stage adaptation features 17 Irving Berlin songs. Army veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act following their service in World War II. With romance in mind, the two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which just happens to be owned by Bob and Phil’s former army commander. With a series of romantic mix-ups and a dazzling score including “Blue Skies,” “I Love a Piano,” and the perennial title song, White Christmas is an uplifting musical any time of year but especially loved at Christmas. Then it’s back to your hotel for a good night’s rest.  

 Spend a leisurely morning at the hotel with your included breakfast. Then begin your journey home with a special stop in the Wisconsin Dells to do a little Christmas shopping in the downtown area.  Don’t forget to visit the Goody Goody Gumdrop candy store! Then it’s time for lunch at River Walk Restaurant, where you can enjoy lunch in a rustic setting with a view of the Wisconsin River! After lunch, enjoy one more stop at Fawn Creek Winery for an included wine tasting. Then it’s time to continue home. Visit with your new friends & old along the way about the exciting time you had celebrating the upcoming Christmas Season!
