I felt in such good hands with Maria and the location that her yoga retreat was fabulous. The host Michaela was an incredible chef, and the property was surrounded by beautiful olive trees, and jasmine bushes. Nardo and the beach surrounding the retreat was a bike ride away.

5 days 6 nights on the on a small island in the Tyrrenhenian Sea oof the coast of Sicily. Filcudi is part of the Aeolian Islands.Arrive late afternoon October 1 in time ro prepare for a dinner looking over the sea. to Mt Etna. The following day we commence on 5 days meditation and 2 daily yoga practices. Meals will be prepared by a local chef and resident of the island. Fresh local dishes and "fruits from the sea".The location is a typical Aeolian-style house located in Fossetta and has panoramic view of Sicily and Mount Etna. An 8 minute walk to Pecorini A Mare puts you right on the water in the center of a small port from which you can get to wonderful swim spots, small shops, La Sirena hotel for a bite or a beverage, and some wonderful naturalists to have wonderful conversations with and to book an experience on a paddle board or boat!

Yoga + Meditation on Filicudi Island.

5 DAYS ON FILICUDI. A simple daily practice of meditation and asana in an epic location. Filicudi is one of seven islands that make up the Aeolian archipelago, situated 46 km northeast of the island of Sicily, Southern Italy. The playground of the Gods and Goddesses. It is stunningly raw; the beauty of this place on earth rips your heart wide open. And it is not for the faint of heart. A rugged adventurous .The house has (five rooms) each with a queen sized bed and private bath. A simple house with open living rooms for our gatherings and a large covered terrace. The view is panoramic and absolutely magical at all times of day or night! The accommodations are tasteful yet modest.Our morning will begin with meditation followed by a rigorous two hour yoga practice. We will break for brunch followed by free time for rest or explore the beaches in Pecorini. In the late afternoon we will gather for a yin yoga / restorative practice and meditation.All meals will be provided by a local chef sourcing local ingredients from the land and from the sea! We will explore wines from the local area during dinner.
