Five days Luxor Cairo Alexandria

Day 1 Arrival
Our representative will be waiting for you at Cairo airport, He will be holding a signboard having your name on it, then he will help you with visa procedures, customs and luggage checking, then he will escort you to your private, modern a/c van to transfer you to your hotel for check in.

Day 2: Giza
In and around Giza
This day is dedicated to the highlights of Giza and Cairo as you will start with heading to the Giza plateau where you will explore the following monuments: Great Pyramid of Cheops (the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world) dating back to about 2500 B.C. Pyramid of Chephren (son of Cheops) Pyramid of Mycerinus (grandson of Cheops) Panorama area where you can take great pictures of the whole pyramids Camel adventure in the Sahara desert around the pyramids Valley Temple or Mummification Temple of king Chephren where mummification of the dead king took place Great Sphinx which is man headed lion considered as a guardian of the pyramids Then you will have lunch at a good quality restaurant overlooking the pyramids and proceed to the Egyptian museum which has the biggest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts in the world (120,000 items). At the museum you will have the opportunity to wonder at the treasures of the golden Pharaoh Tutankhamen, the Heretic king Akhenaten collection, colossal statues, coffins, colossal statues, animal mummy room, Royal Mummy Rooms (extra fee) and much more. Then you will take traditional felucca sailboat on the Nile for relaxation. Later you will visit the worldwide known Khan el Khalili bazaar where you will enjoy the oriental atmosphere of the old markets and mosques. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L)

Luxor
In and around Luxor
representative will pick you up in the early morning to transfer you to Cairo airport to take flight to Luxor airport where your private Tour guide will be waiting for you, then you will start your once in a lifetime experience, first you will cross the Nile River to the West Bank where you will wow at the Valley of the Kings that has more than 60 royal rock cut tombs dating back between 1450-900 B.C, you can explore 3 tombs of your choice then you will head to the beautiful, unique terraced temple of queen Hatshepsut in Deir el Bahary area and after that you will be amazed by the famous colossi of Memnon. Later you will have lunch at a good quality restaurant and continue your magnificent tour on the East Bank as you will have the time to explore the Karnak temple which is the biggest temple on earth and then the beautiful Luxor Temple with mysterious inscriptions and reliefs. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to Luxor airport to catch your flight to Cairo airport where you will meet our representative to escort you to your hotel in Cairo. (B, L)

Alexanderia
Your private, qualified Egyptologist tour guide will be waiting for you in your hotels lobby to start your full day tour in Alexandria (about 3 hours drive), where you will first visit the famous Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa (1st century A.D. one of the seven wonders of the Middle Ages), a complex with many underground rock cut tombs in 3 level that combine the features of 3 different art styles; i.e. ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman in unrivaled way, then you will have the time to explore the Pompeys pillar (28m high) that were erected as a symbol of gratitude towards the Roman emperor that saved Alexandria from a famine in the 4th century A.D., at the same site there are also the remains of the Temple of Serapis, then you will proceed to the Fort of Qaitbay (15th century A.D.) that was built to protect Egypt against potential Ottoman invasion, it was built at the same site of the ancient lighthouse of Alexandria (Pharos). After that you will have lunch at a good quality seafood restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean and later you will enjoy visiting the Montazah gardens and viewing the Royal Family palaces. And then have the rare chance of visiting the New Library of Alexandria that is considered one of the biggest in the world with 70,000 square meters reading space arranged in 11 cascading levels. At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel. (B, L)

Our representative will pick you up in the morning from your hotel to Cairo airport to take your flight back home. (B)

2 way flight tickets were not booked from cairo to luxor as promised. We had to cancel trip, they deducted 50 % even though they booked one way ticket which was forwarded to us.
