About this trip

The Usambara Mountains are home to ancient forests, rolling hills, waterfalls, and magnificient vistas.

The retreat will be hoested at Irente Farm Biodiversity Reserve, with over 200 hectares of forests to explore at your leisure.

The farm produces fresh milk, cheese, yogurt, honey, vegetables and jams, of which we will enjoy during our fantastic meals at Irente Farm.

We will spend our time at Irente Farm in silence amongst nature, and practicing meditation together by the fireplace on cool nights.

The meditation techniques that will be shared are rooted in Buddhism, Taoism, Native American traditions, and the latest neuroscience research.

The goal is for participants to learn a variety of tools to build a meditation practice or deepen an established practice.
