About this trip

Join us in the Sunshine State for an incredible 8-day excursion sure to chase away the Winter Blues! This tour has a bit of everything: beaches, space exploration, water sports, wildlife encounters, and the historical streets of St. Augustine, the oldest city in the USA. If historical weather proves true this year, the only thing this tour will not have will be frigid temperatures - Florida high temperatures vary between the low to mid 70s! Explore out-of-this-world exhibits at the Kennedy Space Center. Take a boat ride to encounter manatees in the wild. Tour the Ponce de Leon Fountain of Youth Archeological Site. Visit historic homes and a Florida Plantation. Do all of this and, of course, enjoy great food, fantastic company, and make unmatched memories.

Trip was way too much walking and stairs. Not represented properly. Amazing sights and loved seeing everything. Too much pasta/Italian meals. Some of group decided not to attend last one as it was too much. Plays were highlight!!!! Guide did not keep track of group. Hard to keep track of him in busy NYC. Frustrating at times. He expected more out of us.

Great trip but terrible disorganized guide Kevin. He only talked about himself nonstop….One day he rushed us at breakfast (after gorging himself /and not noticing that our table of four still had no food) and then we got to the docks and stood there for 45 minutes waiting for our whale watching trip. He never gave us enough time and promised us shopping time several time but we never got it Because of his poor time management. The last night at the airport there was incorrect communication in drinks at dinner and breakfast the next day. He and the bus driver Mr had left for good and we had to deal with the hotel directly. The bars in I Ashland was a total dump and you should not ever put people there again!

I had a great time. I saw a lot of places I've wanted to see. Great accommodations, fantastic meals (even the box lunches), and well worth the price. Only one suggestion: when we go to Italy, make sure the tour guide waits for everyone when we leave the plane and especially if we need to change planes. In the U.S., it's easy to find your way around or get help, but not so easy in a foreign country. Okay, one more. I was fine but not everyone can walk as fast. 😊

Oregon was an excellent destination, and the tour highlighted many of these locations, but in a breakneck speed. We had so little time at each stop to enjoy the area. Tour guide didn't seem to have much first-hand information, unfortunately, and disdained the wish of travelers to do any local shopping. Some of the planned activities and housing choices were clearly not done with a thought to the age of most of our group (almost entirely seniors, and some with mobility issues). My personal travel person from San Antonio, Jodie Wurzbach, was very knowledgeable and rescued many of the descriptions and historical information as we moved around. I would travel with her again, but not with our Oregon "guide."
