About this trip

Sink into Summer with a bite-sized retreat to Heidrun Meadery & Farm in Pt. Reyes! Our day begins with a playful yoga practice centered around the element of fire, the 3rd chakra & the holy day of Beltane (May Day). Class will be followed by mead tastings alongside fresh breads, cheese and fruit. We'll wrap up our time together by creating flower crowns in the olive grove - a traditional Beltane activity that you can take home with you!

Before You Go

Bring layers, a yoga mat, sun protection and extra money for tips, and in case you wish to purchase any bottles or gifts. Note that drinking water is available on site.

***If you plan on making a flower crown, please bring a bundle of flowers. I will be providing some greenery & the materials to create the base. Beltane is all about the wild self, so feel encouraged to dress colorfully!***

Marina is a life-long Bay Area resident, yogini mama and lover of all that is wild. Her classes, workshops and retreats invite students to explore the details of all experiences with the utmost passion and curiosity. For her, yoga asana is an embodied ritual which has the capacity to uncover our most vibrant, potent selves. Her slow moving vinyasa classes are alignment-rich, highly creative, and meant to honor and celebrate each students unique connection to yoga. One of her greatest joys is being able to merge my love for nature with my passion for yoga.

I had a most delightful time. Marina is a wonderful yoga teacher, and organized everything so well. The farm was so spacious lovely and the food super delicious. I would highly recommend this retreat. Thank you so much.

What a treat to be on retreat with Marina and her diverse and conscious community of yogis. The setting was beautiful, the food was delicious, and our leader created a context to unwind that allowed us to get into our bodies in no time.. She was very responsive to the energy of the group, providing a supportive space for all of us to walk the fine line between exertion and relaxation. It was a perfect weekend getaway!

This trip was even more magical than I hoped it would be, and I returned fully recharged. Marina is a fantastic trip leader--fun, flexible, responsive to evolving group needs, and always willing to hang out, laugh or lead a hiking adventure. The location--an off-the-grid fruit and flower farm in Mendocino--was so special, with delicious local vegetarian food, an outdoor shower that looked like it was built by fairies, fires at night, extra-comfy beds, and a warm owner who invited us to wander her orchards and pick any fruit we wanted to eat. We practiced wrapped in fog; hiked to the ocean; watched the sunset and the full moon rise over the redwoods. Amazing!

I adore Marina’s regular yoga class as well as her retreats, and this one was no exception. Gorgeous magical West Marin property; blissful sound healing with Aleksandra; sweet hostess and of course Marina’s sunny vibes. My friend and I felt like we had gotten away for much longer than just a day!

I had a very nice relaxing time listening to the birds, doing yoga, eating lunch and tasting mead. Marina is fantastic and I would do it all again in the future :)
