Are you ready to walk in the footsteps of the patriarchs, prophets, apostles, and Jesus? On this journey to the Holy Land, you will see the Bible you have read for so long come to life, and you will visit some of Christianity's most sacred sites. You will stand where miracles happened, sail on the Sea of Galilee, and explore places where some of the most profound moments in history unfolded.  This trip will undoubtedly enrich your relationship with God, deepen your understanding of His Holy word, and produce moments of transformation you will never forget. 


PRICING:
$4,365 LAND ONLY per person based on double occupancy.
Single room supplement - $1,175

A non-refundable deposit of $500 per person is required with registration to secure space.

50% of the total amount is due on or before April 17, 2026

Balance due on or before August 1, 2026


Important Things To Know: 


PASSPORTS: Passports must be valid with an expiration date of at least six months beyond the return home date of the tour. If you do not have a valid passport or need to renew your passport, you should start that process as soon as possible. 


CANCELLATION POLICY: The $500 per person deposit is nonrefundable. Other payments exceeding the $500 per person are refundable in full up to one hundred and twenty days prior to departure. After this date, refunds for unused accommodations and services will be limited to the amount received from and/or credited by all carriers, sightseeing operators, and hotels. All funds, including the deposit, are non-transferable.


AIR: The Standard Tour includes round-trip, economy-class airfare from the departure city listed in the itinerary. All group seating is assigned by the airline and cannot be changed by Ekklesia Travel. Seat changes can only be made during check-in at the airport. Upgrades such as Comfort, Premium, Business, or First Class are not available with the standard tour. Participants who wish to upgrade or purchase a specific seat should choose the Land Only option when registering. Frequent flyer, TSA Precheck, and Global Entry numbers can only be added at check-in.


LAND ONLY: Participants who wish to upgrade beyond coach or would just like to arrange their own air should choose the Land Only option. $1000pp will be deducted from the standard tour price when selecting this option. Participants arranging their own air should notify Ekklesia Travel as soon as possible. Land Only Passengers arriving with or before the group are welcome to join the group bus at no additional charge. Those not arriving with the group will be responsible for their own transfer and any associated costs.  Ekklesia Travel can provide contact information to arrange a private transfer.


HOTELS: The tour price includes all hotels on the itinerary. The price is based on two people per room with a private bath and shower.


SINGLE SUPPLEMENT: A limited number of single rooms are available at additional supplement prices. Ekklesia Travel and/or the group leader will make every attempt to pair single participants requesting a roommate. However, the single supplement fee will be charged for each person occupying a single room, whether by choice or circumstance.


MEALS: While in country breakfast and dinner are provided daily. Lunch is generally the responsibility of the traveler.


SIGHTSEEING: Entrance fees to all places listed in the itinerary are included, as well as an expert English-speaking guide.


LUGGAGE: Space is limited on the tour buses. Participants are allowed one suitcase weighing 50 lbs or less and will be transported in storage under the bus. Participants are allowed one backpack/daypack or personal bag to carry on the bus during the tour. These requirements will meet most airline carrier restrictions. See the carrier website for airline-specific baggage restrictions and requirements.


TIPS, SERVICE CHARGES, AND TAXES: Tips, service charges, and taxes ARE INCLUDED in the selling price. Taxes, as imposed by national and/or local governments, that are not included at the time of booking are the responsibility of the participant.


NOT INCLUDED: Excess baggage fees, passport fees, visa fees, food or drink items not listed on the regular table menu for included meals, and items of a personal nature such as room service, laundry, etc. Any service not indicated in the itinerary and/or the above list of included features.


HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: This tour requires a substantial amount of walking. Many of the sites are not accessible by wheelchair, and the uneven terrain at some sites will be a challenge for those who are not stable on their feet. You do not have to be in the physical shape of an athlete, but all travelers should be in reasonable physical shape. You should be able to walk uphill, navigate stairs, and uneven terrain, or walk over loose stones. Ekklesia Travel reserves the right to refuse individuals who may require special attention beyond what the tour guide and tour host can provide.


TRAVEL INSURANCE: Travel Insurance is not included in the purchase price. Travel insurance is not required but is recommended. Ekklesia Travel is not responsible for any agreements, disputes, or anything else associated with your travel insurance. As with all insurance policies make sure you read and understand the terms and conditions before purchasing.

Departing for Israel

Today, we will board our plane and take off for this great adventure across the Holy Land. Sit back and settle, and try to get some sleep so you will be rested and ready when we arrive.

ARRIVE IN THE HOLY LAND

Arrive in Tel Aviv, where you will be met at the airport for transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Netanya.

CAESAREA/ MT CARMEL/ NAZEREATH

Today we drive north along the Mediterranean coast to gorgeous Caesarea Maritima. Visit the Roman theater as well as Herod the Great’s seaside palace and its ruins. Continue to Mt. Carmel, where Elijah challenged the prophets of Baal. Journey through the Valley of Armageddon, a strategic valley connecting Egypt and Damascus and the site of many historic battles. We make a quick stop at the church of Annunciation and view the home that tradition says is the home of Mary, Joseph, and Jesus.  Next we will stand atop Mt. Precipice, where you will have a panoramic view of Nazareth, Cana, and the Jezreel Valley. If time permits we will make a short stop in and members of our group will have an opportunity to renew their wedding vows in a brief ceremony inside the church in Cana. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

MAGDALA/ UPPER GALILEE

Begin the morning in Magdala, the birthplace of Mary Magdalene, where ruins from a first-century synagogue and fishing village have been uncovered. We then make our way to the northern limits of Jesus’ travel as we cross the River Hatzbani to Dan. Here we combine a nature walk beside the Upper Jordan with views of the ancient ruins, topped by the Israelite high place that supported a golden calf (I Kings 12). On our way out we will stop and take pictures at the Abraham Gate, this was the city gate when Abraham chased Lot’s abductors all the way to Dan (Gen. 14:14) Next we have a short drive to Banias (Caesarea Philippi), dedicated to Pan the Greek god of pastures, flocks and shepherds; here Peter made his great profession of faith, and recognition of Christ Jesus (Matthew 16). Driving along the foot of Mount Hermon, we ascend onto the Golan Plateau for a magnificent view of upper Israel. The day concludes at Yardenit, where you will have a chance to be baptized in the Jordan River. Dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

SEA OF GALILEE

The morning begins with a boat ride on the calm surface of the Sea of Galilee. Visit Capernaum, the town where Jesus started His ministry and performed several miracles. Among the ruins, see the house of Peter and the location of the synagogue where Jesus taught. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Multiplication of Loaves and Fish and the Primacy of Peter, where Jesus appeared to his disciples after the resurrection. Next we will drive to the top of the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee and the surrounding area. We will end the day with a time of prayer and reflection at Mount Arbel, the tallest peak around the Sea of Galilee and the place where Jesus issued the great commission to his Disciples. Next we make our way back down to our hotel to enjoy our last night in Galilee. Saint Peters fish lunch provided

BEIT SHEAN/ JERICHO

This morning we will take our final look at the Sea of Galilee as we depart for Bethlehem. On the way we travel via the Crusader fortress of Belvoir along the Rift Valley to Beit She’an, where King Saul and his sons were pinned to the walls. It became the Decapolis Capital and was traveled by Jesus and known as Scythopolis. Here we will see the ancient theater, Circus Maximus, and Cardo Maximo, and walk on a Roman street and much more. From here we will head to see the famous walls of Jericho and ruins from one of the oldest cities in the world. After our time in Jericho we will make our way to Jerusalem to check into our hotel and enjoy our overnight stay.

MASADA/ DEAD SEA/ QUMRAN/ EN GEDI

Travel along the ancient “Bloody Way” into the wilderness of the Judean Desert. Visit Wadi Qelt and see the Valley of the Shadow of Death from the high cliffs. See the caves of Qumran where the Dead Sea scrolls were discovered by a shepherd boy. Next we proceed to Masada, the desert fortress built by Herod the Great and used by Jewish zealots as a stronghold during the revolt. We will also visit En Gedi and have an opportunity to sit next to David’s waterfall. Finally before heading to our hotel we will visit the Dead Sea. Here you are literally at the lowest point on earth. Experience this once in a lifetime opportunity to swim/float in the healing, mineral-rich waters. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

BETHLEHEM/ JERUSALEM

This morning we will begin the day on the Mount of Olives. From here we can view the Kidron Valley and take in the spectacular views of the Temple Mount. We will follow the Palm Sunday path stopping at the Church of All Nations and spend time in quiet reflection and prayer as we visit the Garden of Gethsemane. Drive south to the little town of Bethlehem for a visit to the Church of Nativity and the caves where Jerome translated the Bible into Latin. Visit the Shepherd's Fields with views of the Fields of Boaz and Ruth. Take the opportunity to marvel at beautiful pieces of olive wood handcrafted by locals while shopping in Bethlehem. Time permitting, journey to the Valley of Elah, where David defeated Goliath. Dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

JERUSALEM

Today we step into history as we enter the Old City of Jerusalem. We will stroll along the narrow streets, experiencing the blend of several cultures revealed in the colorful bazaars, fragrant spices, and distinct neighborhoods as we make our way to the Temple Mount, where Solomon's Temple was built on Mount Moriah. From here we will marvel at the Dome of the Rock enclosing the Rock of Sacrifice. Next we will have an opportunity to stand and pray at the Western Wall where Jews have prayed to God for centuries. Our walk continues to the Southern Steps where we shall see remnants from the days of the Second Temple, which was destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD. Enjoy lunch at your choice of restaurants in the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, we visit the Church of Saint Anne, the Pool of Bethesda, Lithostrotos, Pilate's Judgment Hall, and Antonia Fortress. Follow the Via Dolorosa with its culmination at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Return to the hotel in Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

MOUNT ZION/ GARDEN TOMB

This morning we start at Mount Zion with a visit to the Upper Room, the presumed Tomb of King David, and the House of Caiaphas, where Jesus spent his last night before his crucifixion. Here you will have a chance to descend into the prison cell where tradition says Jesus was kept the night He was arrested. Finish the day with a time to reflect on all we have experienced at the Garden Tomb, where a communion service will be held. From here we will head back to our hotel to enjoy our last meal with our driver and guide and pack our bags and prepare for the journey home. Overnight in Jerusalem.

TIME TO GO HOME

Today we transfer to the Tel Aviv Airport for our return flight home with luggage packed full of keepsakes and your heart full of memories and stories to share with your friends and family!
