As a dynamic, curious, and light-hearted traveler, one of my great joys is introducing people to fascinating places. When we arrive in a new place, we begin to connect with local people, the culture, and the landscape. These interactions inevitably begin to change our inner landscapes as well: hearts swell, minds open, compassion and acceptance spread. I try to facilitate this same connection & expansion when I'm back home teaching yoga at local studios in Hoboken, Jersey City, and NYC. Let's go on some inner/outer adventures together!

This was my 2nd year for this retreat and it didn’t disappoint! Kim makes us all feel welcome, her yoga class plans are great and appropriate for all and the accommodations are wonderful. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

I've been on several of Kim's retreats and they all offer different experiences. This is my third time on the Holbox retreat and it is by far the most chill, as they say. A beautiful beach, steps away from your more than comfortable room; a short walk into a still unspoiled town; no high rises or chain restaurants; no cruise boats or cars or trucks..... just some taxis to take you to town if you're not in the mood to walk. And always the nicest and most fun group of people who happen to collect together. Do it. You won't be disappointed.

So much fun! Kim is an amazing instructor. The people on the retreat were so relaxed. The place was beautiful and not at all touristy. And Holbox was a dream world. Highly recommend!

I had a great time. The island is amazingly beautiful. The people on the retreat and on the island were wonderful. The yoga was spot on, led by an instructor who met you where you were in your practice and body each day.

This was the perfectly curated, small group luxury trip I’ve ever taken. I’ve been home for a week and a half and I still can’t stop talking about it or maybe bragging about it is more like it. I loved everything about this 2 week Morocco trip, from the food, the accommodations, the excursions, the authentic experiences, learning about the culture, experiencing and living the culture, the scenery and especially the group of people I just met and got to share so many great moments and laughs with. I found this trip randomly from an online Google search. It matched my criteria, cities and points of interest and within 24 hours I was booked. Other great highlights are: 1) Kim Larkin, making everything flow so seamlessly and easily, her ability to morph and adjust to a mix of personalities, always being so much fun to be around with a great sense of humor as well as a depth of knowledge of Morocco, culture and her warmth, respect and kindness she shines on all 2) Rachid, our 24/7 tour guide, our cultural expert, a young man with backstory and life at the young age of 32 that will blow you away, surprising levels of energy, drive, enthusiasm, human compassion, amazing sense of humor, organization and let’s not forget he started a foundation to help 1,000’s of nomads in the high Atlas Mountains get cured for cataracts. 3) Kamal - our expert driver, also Rachid’s cousin, who safely drove us a thousand miles through Morocco in the comfort of a lovely Mercedes, air conditioned Sprinter van with USB ports to keep our batteries charged continuously along with a constant supply of WiFi. There are so many highlights of this trip but my favorite was having lunch at a traditional nomad home and meeting the whole family. The music they played and sang on homemade instruments was beautiful. I also enjoyed the cooking class at Riad Siwan in Marrekech, glamping in the Sahara, the food at rest stops is some of the best, America needs to step up their game. We had the best goat tagine ever. I also enjoyed stopping in the cedar forest to feed the monkeys as well. At the end of the day I thoroughly enjoyed all of our experiences and the group I was with. I know many women are concerned about safety traveling to a third world country but I never once felt unsafe. Here are your options: Option 1 - book the trip with and don’t miss out on a once in a lifetime adventure and trip. Option 2 - sit home regretting you missed out on the trip of a lifetime. Denise (aka Berber Barbie) 💕💕💕 My motto: I work to travel
