Hirinaki Beach House

The Hirinaki Beach House is a private beach front villa set on an exceptionally large 7000 sqm tropical garden. It has direct beach front access on to the natural protected lagoons of Moorea. Enjoy a relaxing stay in this serene location with your own private pool. 25 minutes away from Papeete by ferry and 2 minutes away from the Temae surfing spot. The space

The house has six bedrooms, a large open-plan lounge dining and kitchen all interconnected with an open deck. The living room can be completely opened out on to a large outdoor pool with views of the sea. If you are by chance awake early in the morning, enjoy your coffee on the beachfront deck and admire a spectacular sunrise. Just magic!
There are three master bedrooms, each one with air-conditioning and an ensuite. The environment is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. You are within easy access to supermarkets, golf course, restaurants and other facilities.
The large tropical garden includes a paddle court (mini tennis). We also have a kayak and paddle board should you wish to explore the lagoon. The house is also equipped with a BBQ and our very own tiki bar for happy hour by the pool. We can also organise a maid, meals/catering/chef services and excursions.

EXPERIENCE:

You will be spending 1-2 days on a private boat tour to swim with the magnificent Humpback Whales in Moorea *Interactions are not guaranteed
Enjoy the crystal clear lagoon as we anchor at the sandbar to swim with the stingrays and black tip reef sharks.
Drift through the lagoon to look for turtles and spotted eagle rays.

Additional Information

Please bring your own wetsuit and fins. There is no rental options on the island. A full 3mm wetsuit is highly recommended; many guests have skipped the wetsuit and gotten very cold when the weather got windy and cloudy.
Guests must be good swimmers for this trip. We are dropped 100m away from the whales and must swim up to them from that distance (local regulation for whale swimming). It is possible to hire a private guide to help you swim if necessary. Please inquire.
Many guests have gotten sunburn even though there is shade on the boat, so all skin must be covered. We suggest hat, scarf for face/lips, full skin or wetsuit and plenty of sunscreen.
Guests are required to be be physically able to get up a small boat ladder on their own.

Come and spend the day with me, so I can show you all the best spots of the island. Mountains, waterfalls, private beach and other wonders is what awaits you with Enjoy Moorea ! My mission of the day is to show you all the different aspects that Moorea that has to offer and that you get to know the island almost as well as the locals !!

I will take you first to the Magic Mountain, one of the best panorama view of the island. Admission Ticket Free Stop At: Belvedere Lookout After that, we will go to the Belvedere, the highest point of view of Moorea where you can enjoy the landscape with a fresh coconut !

Moorea Tropical Garden

We will end the morning at the Tropical Garden where you will visit a Vanilla plantation and where I will tell you all the secrets about our local plants.

Stop At: Temae Beach Now that I have whetted your appetite, we will go to Temae so you can share, on a private beach, a typical polynesian meal with some punch, local beers, water and tropical juices. After lunch, you can enjoy a little bit of free time to walk on the beach, collect some shells or have a swim into crystal clear water.

Stop At: Afareaitu Waterfalls To end this beautiful day, we will head towards Afareaitu where a easy little hike (15mn) will take you to one of the waterfall of the valley.

What To Expect
Cruise in Opunohu Bay and through the lagoon of Moorea;
Observe spinner dolphins and humpback whales in their natural habitat;
Possibility of snorkeling with humpback whales;
Snorkel with stingrays and black tip sharks.
After picking you up from your hotel, the boat will leave our base, located in Opunohu Bay, for a short stroll in the bay followed by a safety debriefing regarding the approach of cetaceans.
Every year between July and early November, humpback whales migrate through the warm Polynesian waters. They come here to breed or give birth. This is a unique opportunity we have to admire them.
During this excursion we sometimes also happen to see spinner dolphins, pilot whales and pelagic sharks.
French Polynesia is one of the few destinations in the world where it is still possible to swim with cetaceans and have the opportunity to observe them underwater. Join us and have the experience of your life!
On our return to the lagoon, we will also stop to swim with stingrays and black tip sharks. This activity takes place on a shallow sandbank of the lagoon where you can stand as the water is only waist-chest high. It is accessible to all ages without any particular physical shape needed. You can also enjoy a break on the boat with a drink and fresh fruit.
There is the possibility to drop off customers at the Beach Restaurant on the motu or other after the return excursion, at your own expense.

The most incredible hike on the island of Moorea is Mount Rotui. This peak sits in the middle of Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay.

From the top, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of both bays and the surrounding reef.
