What a great glimpse into the pearl of Africa.
With our premium packages, we offer the best value for money while still making sure to provide you with an exceptional experience but safe costs where it is not critical for the tour.
Our premium tours come with 4x4 SUVs (Toyota 4WD Landcruiser) and are optimized for safari tours. The vehicles are technically the same as for the luxury tours but have a little bit less comfort.
It's quite common to find safari packages costing around € 1,000 per night. While a luxury safari can be quite expensive, it's well worth the investment if you're able to afford it, even just for a few days. With top-notch accommodations, top-of-the-line vehicles, and exceptional food and drink, a luxury safari promises to be the ultimate wildlife holiday experience. Additionally, by choosing a top tier company like Tourilla Tours, you'll be making a significant contribution to conservation.
Our luxury tours include top-of-the-line safari SUVs (Toyota 4WD extended Landcruiser), which are highly customized 4x4 vehicles with long wheelbases. They have additional suspension, ensuring a smooth ride even on rough terrain. Most of these vehicles are open-sided, with raised seats to provide optimal views of wildlife for everyone on board. This design also allows for close encounters with curious big cats during game drive safaris. Additionally, the SUVs are equipped with cool boxes for drinks, power sockets for charging various devices.
Welcome to the Pearl of Africa! The airport in Entebbe will be your arrival destination.
You will be welcomed by our professional tour guide and given a brief overview of the 5 days ahead. You will proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an evening game drive in the park. This park is the most popular savanna park in Uganda and is ideal for viewing lions, including the Tree Climbing lions, during a Uganda Wildlife Safari. This country is renowned for its diverse habitats, which include lakes, savannah grasslands, forests, and wetlands, all of which feed the country's largest mammals.
Already your first day will be full of natural wildlife as you encounter elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and birds.
Our recommendation is to arrive the day before so that you can do some sightseeing in Kampala and Entebbe before transferring to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We are happy to assist with any planning.
Accommodation: Elephant Plains Game Lodge
Elephant Plains is a brand new luxury lodge located on the most spectacular view point in the whole of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Perched 941 metres above sea level, high upon the western escarpment of the Albertine rift in the north east of the park, the lodge offers panoramic views stretching for miles over the huge open grasslands to lake George. Set in 80 acres of pristine wilderness, a short drive to the park gate, nowhere else here can you sleep closer to the equator. Nestled next to beautiful lake Kikorongo this is where the open plains merge into the crystal waters and seeing large numbers of Elephants coming to drink from the water, hence the lodges name.
