In Belize, Caribbean ease meets Central American culture—and island time is the only time that matters. Our home base will be San Pedro, the lively heart of Ambergris Caye, Belize’s largest and most beloved island.

Ambergris Caye is famous for its laid-back charm, turquoise waters, and colorful streets where golf carts outnumber cars. Fun fact: it’s nicknamed “La Isla Bonita” thanks to its relaxed rhythm, warm locals, and unbeatable sunsets. Just offshore sits one of Belize’s crown jewels, the Belize Barrier Reef, the second-largest reef system in the world, making this one of the best destinations globally for snorkeling and diving. Even if you’re not diving deep, the reef offers calm, crystal-clear waters perfect for beginner snorkelers and relaxed boat days.

And let’s talk food. Belizean cuisine is a flavorful mix of Caribbean, Latin, and Creole influences. Expect fresh seafood, coconut rice and beans, stewed chicken, fry jacks for breakfast, and plenty of rum punches and margaritas to go around.

We’ll be staying at Alaia Belize San Pedro, a stunning four-star oceanfront resort that blends modern luxury with relaxed island style. Our group will be housed in spacious multi-bedroom residences, giving you the comfort of a shared villa experience with full access to all resort amenities—the best of both worlds. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially a Cancel For Any Reason (CFAR) policy. CFAR coverage can reimburse up to 75% of your non-refundable trip cost if you cancel, for any reason at all.

To qualify, CFAR insurance must be purchased within 21 days of your initial deposit via WeTravel. If you choose not to get insurance, you’ll be responsible for any financial losses due to cancellation or emergencies.

Arrive at Belize City International Airport, where we’ll coordinate arrivals and travel together to the island via a quick 15-minute domestic flight to San Pedro. Please note that your international flight to BZE is not included. Your domestic flight from BZE to San Pedro is.

After checking in and settling into our oceanfront resort, you’ll have time to freshen up before kicking off the trip with our All-White Welcome Dinner: A Taste of Belize—the perfect way to connect, unwind, and set the tone for an unforgettable island escape.

Spend the day on the water as we head to Caye Caulker for a sun-soaked boat day with unlimited rum punch. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel along one of the largest barrier reefs in the world, home to vibrant marine life and crystal-clear waters. Between snorkeling stops, rum punch flows freely, music sets the mood, and we’ll explore the easygoing charm of Caye Caulker before heading back to Ambergris Caye.

Today is all about flavor and discovery. Our guide will pick us up to cruise around the island for lunch, stopping at beloved local eateries to sample traditional dishes and learn more about Belize’s rich culinary culture. Expect good food, great company, and a relaxed afternoon soaking in the island vibe as we explore San Pedro together.

We’ll slow things down today with a more relaxed island pace. Enjoy free time to explore, book a spa treatment, lounge poolside, or join a group visit to Secret Beach, one of Ambergris Caye’s most iconic spots for shallow turquoise waters, beach bars, and sunset views. This day is all about choosing your own adventure.

After one final breakfast at the resort, we’ll check out and travel back to Belize City via our domestic flight, timed to connect with international departures home.

For those who aren’t quite ready to say goodbye, there will be an opportunity to extend your stay. If you’d like to remain on the island longer or coordinate visiting other cities in addition with fellow travelers, details can be arranged separately.
