Corcovado National Park Sirena station
The Corcovado National Park is the most visited place of the area. It is home to over 140 species of mammals, 120 species of reptiles, 6000 species of insects and over 400 kinds of birds. Besides, in this spectacular park, there are 500 species of trees and 150 species of orchids. That is why the National Geographic Magazine called it the most biologically intense place on Earth.

6:00 am: 1 and a half hour boat ride to the Sirena Biological Station.
7:45 am: Get ready at Sirena Beach and walk to the ranger station, drop off overnight bags and gear and set off on a 3-4 hour hike.
12:30 am: We take a lunch break at the ranger station.
2:30pm: We take a walk in the afternoon for approximately 3 hours.
6:30pm: Dinner at the ranger station and after dinner we go to sleep, the lights go out at 8:00pm.
5:30am: Night/early morning hike in the forest until 7:00am.
7:45am: Breakfast at the ranger station.
9:00am: We go out in the forest again for another 3 hours hike in the forest, then return to the ranger station to get things ready to go back to Drake Bay, (The last lunch is sometimes taken at the station or on the way back to Drake.)
12:30pm: Boat back to Drake arriving around 2:00pm.
