      Join us at first retreat of our Summer Healing Retreat Series in June! Our upcoming retreat features a specialized focus on grief, offering participants a supportive environment where they can find solace, validation, and guidance in navigating the complexities of grief in its various forms.


      At From Grief to Grace, we will embark on a transformative 3-day escape designed for deep healing, reflection, and personal growth. Together, we will journey towards meaningful perspective, self-reflection, and connection.


      Our all-inclusive retreat series offers immersive sessions in mental health wellness and relaxation, providing you with nourishing meals, refreshing mocktails, and ample time for personal reflection amidst serene surroundings at Durward's Glen Retreat Center

      Steven will be your Summer Healing Retreat Series Director!   


      With over 25 years of experience as a Case Manager, Youth Minister, Public Speaker, and a Life Coach, Steven has facilitated many retreats, mentored countless people, and consistently held an office within a clinical setting. 


      Drawing from his own profound journey of healing and decades of professional experience, Steven is committed to guiding you on your healing journey.  


      Steven’s personality has been described to be like a warm hug - comforting, and instantly familiar.

      Retreat Series Program Overview

      This Summer Healing Retreat Series at Durward’s Glen will feature a tailored weekend schedule for each pivotal retreat theme, with curated workshops, group discussions, journaling prompts, and silent creative time activities. 


      Here is an overview of the weekend schedule:


      Friday: Arrival & Beginning Your Journey 

      1:00 to 5:45 pm: Check in at Durward's Glen, quiet time, decompress & relax

      5:45 pm: Welcome to Durward's Glen, orientation, and supper

      7:00 to 8:30 pm: GROUP SESSION (curated workshop based on each retreat theme) 

      Saturday: Embracing Your Healing

      Morning 

      7:30 am: Optional morning movement: quiet guided walk to connect with nature

      8:00 am: Quiet breakfast

      9:00 am: GROUP SESSION (curated workshop based on each retreat theme)

      10:30 am: Solace in the stillness: quiet creative expression time - arts & crafts projects, reading, journaling, walking the trails, prayer or meditation

      Afternoon

      12:00 pm: Lunch

      12:30 - 2:00 pm: Solace in the stillness: quiet creative expression time - arts & crafts, reading, journaling, walking the trails, reflection, individual meeting with Retreat Director, prayer or meditation

      2:00 pm: GROUP SESSION (curated workshop based on each retreat theme)

      3:30 - 5:30 pm: Solace in the stillness: quiet creative expression time - arts & crafts, reading, journaling, walking the trails, reflection, individual meeting with Retreat Director, prayer or meditation

      5:30 pm: Supper

      7:00 pm: Bonfire gathering: sharing stories & connecting with others

      Sunday: Nurturing The Soul & Departure

      9:15 - 10:00 am: Solace in the stillness: quiet creative expression time - arts & crafts, reading, journaling, walking the trails, reflection, individual meeting with Retreat Director, prayer or meditation

      12:00 pm: Closing reflection practice, light lunch & dismissal
