Ecuador is an exceptional destination for birdwatching and bird photography. The country’s incredible biodiversity offers nonstop opportunities to see and photograph a stunning variety of birds, often at close range and in beautiful natural settings. Having Jorge as a guide made the experience even better. His knowledge of local species, habitats, and the best photo opportunities was outstanding, and his passion for birds truly enhanced the trip. The overall experience was excellent—from comfortable, well-located hotels to absolutely fantastic food at every stop. Ecuador combines world-class birding with warm hospitality and unforgettable cuisine. I would happily return to Ecuador again and highly recommend it to anyone interested in birdwatching or bird photography.

The guides were all extremely knowledgeable - not only of the birds, but also the terrain and other animals on the safaris. The use of local guides is a strong plus for Neblina's management of the trip. The main bird guide, Xaviar, is one of the best I have worked with in my 15+ years of birdwatching internationally. Lodging was more than comfortable and still within my budget, and food was delicious. Kudos to Neblina for a great trip.

Xavier was a fantastic guide. He made every effort to make sure we got to see all the target species. All the trip arrangements were perfect. All the accommodations were comfortable and clean. Marlon picked us up on time from the hotel, and we bird-watched at several locations around the Chapada. He knew the area well and had specific bird species he wanted to find/found at each location. Marlon spoke good English. We would have no hesitation repeating this full-day tour with Marlon -- a wonderful day with a good guide.
